Thanks for taking a look. https://www.mediafire.com/?nd68f9vovtu2bi7

I was attempting to save of one of my cities when the game froze. I had to force quit it and when I came back half my map had been replaced with trees, consuming a good portion of my city. This was my most advanced save by far and I'd hate for anyone else's city to be destroyed like that. If you'd like to see the save file just let me know so I can upload it.

The fire station debuff is quite a nasty one. The firehouse itself is extremely expensive to both set up and run, ignoring the extra water requirements and the potential redesign a player's city will need. Furthermore, setting them up quickly is absolutely vital, as fires are extremely destructive if not handled properly.

To facilitate the player's introduction of firehouses into their city, I suggest accurately displaying the fire hazard icon on houses during the 6 month grace period prior to the fire debuff taking effect. The icon would disappear and reappear as normal if a firehouse was placed down or removed, but it would not actually indicate threat until the 6 month period was over. This would allow the player to prepare more easily and take a small level of difficulty away from the debuff, which I currently feel is the most significant challenge the player will face when designing their city.

I'd also like to briefly plug /r/cityclickers, the new subreddit. We'll have a guide going up soon. Hopefully the sub can attract new people to the game.

I was in the process of expanding my city when the waste management "unlock" appeared. I progressed a few days' time and checked my housing to see if conditions were deteriorating because of waste but it seemed nothing was happening (this is my first save where I've unlocked waste management). I went back to designing a new plot system for large housing, which I unlocked shortly after waste management, but suddenly my income dropped to negative 2 billion per day. Obviously I was completely unable to recover from this and so had to revert to an earlier save.

Is this a bug or did is this just how the game tells me I lost?
