I just tried Zen mode, and I feel like it's pacing is fare better for the mechanics. :)

Has potential, needs some basic things like not being able to go past the borders. Web browser window scrolls when using arrow keys, might be better to use a mouse for aiming. Lacks sound and very generic graphics. But all of that could easily be improved.

Honestly, a work of art. A true masterpiece in the modern age. Should be put in a gaming museum. I am giving all 5 stars and would give 6 if possible.

Fun cute game, one of my favorites of the jam. You have great humor!

Fantastic VN with great artwork and a lovely story. I did get a couple of errors in the web build that might have caused some graphics problems and maybe a crash at the end.

Reminds me of another game called "Before your Eyes"

17581, great game with so much potential. Would make a great phone app with some additions!

Thank you for noticing some of the details. I spent most of the time thinking of patterns and timing it to the music BPM. But there are also the little things like blending in friendly shots and friendly ships into the background color so everything could be read easier.
It is not an easy game at all. It also took me several tries to beat the March 30th version. The July 31st version is way harder (no AI teammates) and I didn't try to attempt it more than a couple of times, but made sure it was possible in a dev debug mode if you are good at dodging. That's for the hardcore SHMUP players. But I agree it could be more forgiving and have lives or health.
Thank you for the review!

I think this is a bug and it works for any year because it only checks the day and month. But I agree, It adds a layer of frustration.

I think it works better in thought than in practice. I'm sure a input popup asking for the current date would have worked just as well. But, lessons learned.
Thank you for feedback. (I think yours is my fav so far)

Very nice, finale wink*

Fantastic game, wish there was more levels.

Great concept. You can kinda break it by resizing the window lol.

IMHO it would be cooler if the ball moved slower. Kinda goes too fast to appreciate it atm.

Really good looking game.

Incredible, but the squirrel wouldn't be picked up unless I did things in a specific order. Just like old adventure games really. Was fun with a good message.

The only bad thing was the commands seemed to go randomly not work and you had to do things in an exact order. For example if you didn't look at the lock then you couldn't pick up the key.

Great for two days, interesting concept that could be fleshed out further.

I played the continuation, and it improved on the sound and levels a lot, however I still think there should be some mechanic to use the brightness.

Great looking game. The powerups felt weak overall, and I think it would have been more extra ordinary.

Fun spelunky-like with rouge-like elements.

Great story about end of life. It did make me tear up a little at the end. <3

Thank you. The message was the most important part.
