I'm running Windows 11. I had set the volumes to 20%.

I saved just before it, remembering what happened last time, and the first time, black screen.
I tried again, without going to full screen this time, and same black screen.

Still getting the black screen when entering the Inn from the front.

But yee. Still decent.

Front door. After flashing the geezer.

1) Fair on not being a native speaker-it's all comprehensible, at least, so it's not a dealbreaker.

2) I don't mean having each enemy have a unique sprite, just a generic "Enemy mob" sprite that chases you and you can run up to to fight or avoid. It's a default part of RPG Maker, so I'm not sure how it would make the budget go higher.

Okay. Played the demo up to entering the Inn, because then it had a black screen and I had to close the game.

Two initial thoughts:

1-Grammar. It's... Not the best. I'd actually be happy to work with you, potentially, to help get the words in a better spot. But, right now? As a game that uses a lot of text, it's rough.

2-Random encounters. This is personal preference for me, but I VASTLY prefer having monsters be on the map and you can avoid them or not as you choose, instead of just random encounters you can't avoid.

Art is good!

Very early stages. As far as I can see, you can walk around. And then one ghost will follow you. And that's it.

I'll echo this. It looks nice, but it's not fun to play.

Sounds good! I enjoyed the game, despite the critique. :)

(1 edit)

Please don't make "Try Again" keep your time the same.

It means you have to Start Over constantly.

Edit: Also, a much bigger thing to ask-maybe have an indicator of where the Wizards will look next and where the Knights will go next? Make it possible to beat without memorization.

That was cute. Not too hard. And the artwork was rock solid!

Game does not work.

I downloaded it, and had some glitchiness getting to the tutorial. In the tutorial, arrow keys and WASD did nothing.

Holy crap. I am so sorry to hear that happened. Genuinely wishing you the best.

Good luck with everything. You can make it through. :)

Little glitchy-can't Struggle against the spear goblins.

Good art!

Default controls feel a bit weird. And the gameplay is pretty simple.

I like it! Will be following. :)

Okay, I like the look. I like the style.

But the gameplay needs work. Parrying, for example, doesn't list a key you need to use. Quick strikes are Q, heavies are L, and that's just awkward. Wall jumps are a bit awkward too.

I am looking forward to seeing this refined! :)

The gameplay feels kinda sluggish. Your character doesn't move fast enough, and there's no dash.

Also, the first boss can be defeated by just spam-firing at point blank range.

It's very basic.

But the art is quite nice. Good for a starting project. :)

Gameplay is incredibly basic. If you want to make a more actiony game, that's going to need some work for sure.

Art is nice, as always! I did enjoy the brief stint in the game. :)

Doesn't take long to complete, though I wasn't able to find the trophy.

Is fun little game. :)

Is very good!

Artwork is nice, gameplay is simple. I like!

First off, I enjoyed my time in the game. The art is great, controls are smooth, and while nothing was too challenging, it's fun!

But, two things that should be addressed:
1-When you need to bounce off the red guys to reach higher spots, if you hit them but miss the ledge, you're stuck and need to restart that screen.
2-Make the last present more obvious! I went right instead of left on that last screen, and had to redo the whole dang thing!

Art is very nice.

A quick tutorial would be nice, though-not sure of the buttons or how to do everything.

Sweet. Looking forward to more.

It's good! Nothing revolutionary, but good art, solid gameplay (if a bit easy) and a fun time.

More an art showcase than a game. But it's good art! :P

Just checking-is there another download link?

As mentioned, that file is missing the game application itself, at least on my end.

Nothing complicated, but a nice two minutes.

Enjoyed it, I did.

Feel better as best you can!

I downloaded it just before work, but now that I get home, that Mega file seems to be missing the game itself.

All the data is there, but not the actual application to play it.

Thank you muchly.  :)

Windows 11 again. Splash Screen giving the error message.

Two things that could improve it, methinks:

1-Guide lines, so you can see somewhat where you're aiming.
2-Mouse controls.

I'll echo this.

I got it working! Yay!

I had a good time. It's basic for now, but the art is pretty good. Not much to comment on since it's definitely still WIP, but I look forward to more! :)
