This is my original report. The team accepted it, but closed the request without a fix...
Hi, I found a game breaking bug:
- I grabbed the hoverboard in the junkyard.
- I placed it next to the crane.
- I left the scene, got the meteorite fragment by the mule, and the mule.
- I took the mule to the swamp. The hoverboard was gone.
- Even after getting the rod and the meteorite fragment in the eye, I can't get to the hoverboard.
Can you please help? I don't have a recent game save. I tried loading the game save in the swamp scene, but it doesn't make the hoverboard appear. The hoverboard is also gone from its original location in the room where the mule was initially parked.
Is someone collecting save games? I hit a game breaking bug in the junkyard section right where I'm supposed to use the hoverboard. If someone has a save game nearby, could you share it?
2 weeks ago I reported the bug and support acknowledged it. They said they're working on a fix, but I have little hope it'll get resolved soon. I requested a save game from them and they never responded.
Hm... I got to the end of Part I and I'm honestly enjoying the game. It's buggy, the UI is bad, and many puzzles don't make sense, but somehow I found enjoyment in some of the less scatological humor and I find the art style clearer than in many more polished games. I wish this game had gotten the release we all wanted, and I wouldn't recommend anyone to buy this, but I don't think it's a total loss and as long as it keeps the current pacing, I'll continue playing it.
I found it important for my enjoyment to pick up the walkthrough. I'm solving most of the puzzles on my own, but a few rely on unexplained features and nonsensical logic, and I don't think I'd find the game as entertaining if I had to work those out on my own.
