Yeah truck sounds are rough to find, I ended up finding a YouTube channel called Saabkyle04 That has quite a few truck sounds from different fords that sound quite good, of particular note is a 2011 f250 lariat powerstroke which is the source for the generic “ford truck sound” that basically every single truck mod used for a while there, it’s nice to hear it without the massively blown out volume, I ended up cleaning up those sounds for my own use so if you like those I can send you my versions, might save you some time
and for this truck the 2019 f-150 raptor and 2014 f-150 FX4 tremor videos sound pretty good and give both exhaust and engine recordings, not sure if I can link those on here or not, let me know and I can link em :)
Amazing truck, really close to perfect, but I have to ask. Why is the start sound cut off? The starter whine being so abruptly cut into the idle sounds odd. if you end up putting out a V2 or something I'd love to see that looked at :)
Ps. the drivers wrist twisting like that in third person looks painful xD
it’s not too complicated, you just use giants loop synthesis tool to take the individual sound files and put them into a .gls file, apart from that it works the same as 19 for transmission sounds etc etc. you could actually record the irl sound if you want, the tool takes in audio for separate rpm. would be amazing but I totally get it if you don’t feel like it, dealing with audio is a pain sometimes. Definitely spent my fair share of time trying to get a tiny detail about the audio to sound right even if I’m the only one who’d ever notice xD
