just spitballing here, but maybe it would improve the game if the refineries could be destroyed. Like maybe when all of your infrastructure under repair, the invaders then go for the refineries. That way a losing state would be more clear. Refineries destroyed + defensive infrastructure down + having under $1m = lose

Thanks for playing! Yes, I was dpread a little thin between the two projects and life stuff. My biggest grievance with this game is that I didn't have time to create any audio 😭

This was fun! A few of the puzzles encoouraged out-of-the-box thinking, which was nice. I thought the music went well with the chill thoughtful puzzle vibe, and the visuals were great! Especially the intro sketch.

Hey this was great! It felt very polished with the visual cohesion and the animations. It was difficult for me to play on my laptop without my mouse since I'm traveling right now, but this is one of the few jam games here that I think I'll actually revisit later. Great job!

Good job on this! You really fleshed out a lot of features here, there seems to be some real strategy to win. I appreciate the explanations at the beginning, otherwise I would have felt lost.

Perhaps a clear losing state would have been nice? I got to a point once where  I was out of money, and my infrastructure was in ruin. It seems I effectively lost, but the game just kept going. Maybe a set of conditions under which the game would just tell me I've lost would be a nice touch.

Thank you! Yes, we are a team of four, but four folk with busy lives! We initially did plan to make the game longer, we had many ideas. I'm so glad you enjoyed it.

Wow, very polished and visually stunning! Genuinely fun and intuitive to play.

Nice! I like how the puzzle gets progressively harder the further you get. Good pacing in that way. The art style is quite cohesive too, good job! I rated it.

Here's a project I helped with for this jam https://1750.itch.io/breakneck

You might find this one funny: https://1750.itch.io/breakneck

I did the animations and art for it.

I always get fired from the fun jobs...

Fun concept to have to turn the wheel manually with the mouse. The game definitely lives up to its name!

I think it would be a lot more fun if the collision mechanics were improved. I often find colliding with something causes me to turn toward it. It would be more enjoyable if the player instead bounces away from it.

Really cool idea, and it fits well with the theme! This has a lot of potential to be a puzzle game that I would actually play a lot in my spare time.

Definitely needs polish though. A tutorial and a more cohesive art style would be great.

This game feels really polished in both its visuals and mechanics! The progression of the game needs fleshed out a bit more imo though, but hey, it's a game jam!

Beautiful visual art! I like the intro being in meter and rhyme. I do think a tutorial on the mechanics would have been helpful though.

Very creative idea! I like the music and how the entire game is on rhythm. It is very  satisfying when I can blast a line of three enemies.

The tutorial is necessary to understand what's going on, I think.

I also wonder if it might be a bit more fun if the player could rotate sections more often, or even independently from the beat. The game would still be a challenge, especially when more and more enemies appear. And it would fix the frustration of accidentally rotating the wrong way.
