Hi there! This game seems really cool but I can't play it. At the very beginning, as well as upon touching the metal green eyes, the screen goes black. I had to look up a walkthrough to figure out what to do when this happens, and when I saw the walkthrough, I noticed that there are things that are supposed to be displayed on the screen at these parts. On my system -- an HP Spectre x360 15-inch running Linux Mint, and using 16GB of board memory, an Nvidia GeForce GTX 1050 GPU with 4GB of its own memory, and an i7 main processor -- these things are not displayed on the screen. The screen is black. I was only able to get past the first part of the game by wandering aimlessly, and I'm unable to progress beyond the part where you press the button to take the tubes out of the dead person's eyes and try to take his metal green eye.

I'm dual booting with a tiny Windows 10 installation I keep around just in case. I'll try downloading the Windows version when I have the time and report back whether it works. Hopefully that might provide some insight as to whether it's a Linux problem or a problem specific to my idiosyncratic setup. I do hope you notice this and consider trying to fix it, but I understand not many people use Linux as their daily driver and full compatibility may not be a priority -- frankly I think it was already plenty considerate and open minded enough of you to target the OS at all, when so many games don't bother -- so I won't hold my breath. I can always just play the Windows version anyway, if it does work.

Regardless, congratulations on an interesting and genuinely scary horror game.
