this game is INCREDIBLY underrated!!!! as a big fan of jason hall and historical settings, i really loved playing this. the walkthroughs were so helpful and i loved all the choices whether they were romantic or platonic-- they were well-developed and it was very enjoyable going through all of them and seeing the different outcomes. although i did get the bad ending first, i really like how the story developed and how realistic the endings were. like obviously i'd never get to marry railan :brokenheart: :sob:,, but i love how the story progresses realistically yet is a happy ending at the same time. so cute and i love how railan's (spoilers??) spouse is also in the same situation as mc and railan LMFAOOO. anyway this is a great game i'll never forget how much i swooned over railan and cried over his backstory. <3
decided to write a comment on this game because awesome solo dev, awesome work, awesome art, and awesome writing!!!! i've reviewed a looottt of yan vns, and what i like so much about this game is the writing and choices speicfically. it's so realistic how we actually have to build a connection with ilya, and in this way, making choices becomes so much more enjoyable! in additiona to that, there are so many endings and choices that it just makes you want to play more and more. really excited for the full version and esp the capitivity route!! i really like how after i've replayed all the endings and choices, you can really see changes in ilya's demeanour in choices which is so cool. (i mean, it's quite obvious because different choice = different route, but i just really loved seeing how he's not just an automatic yandere and you have to earn his favour and whatnot as i've said before.) i realllllyyyy REALLLLYYY love the art and plot so much,, i also really love how the mc acts and i think it's quite realistic!! not too slow, lots of reason, not stupid/can sense suspicion, but can also be lenient and kind!! #ilyaforever #excitedforcaptivityrouteheheheh WISHING YOU ALL THE BEST MARI!! good luck and super excited for the full version!!
so... i started playing this game around over 200 days ago... there are no words to describe how beautifully made this is. everything about this game is ineffable. it takes me a either a while to muster up a lot of feelings for some games and this? this is definitely a top 5 vn i've played. this is never leaving my memory!!!!
so, i'm a city girl lolol, parties, the big scene, it's all my thing!! but playing this, i just loved the vibes so much,, i wish one day i could genuinely reincarnate into sunset bird and meet the sweetest boy named cove holden. this isn't a horror vn or a yan vn which are genres i usually play, but, this was sooo calming, so soothing, and it just felt like a nostalgic reminder that blah blah blah, people love you.. everything is changing around you.. you're growing up so fast, and moving on.. all the themes genuinely made me shed tears. it definitely reminded me of my own childhood, and the nostalgia and bittersweet feelings i felt were so painfully beautiful. but of course, the overpowering feeling of joy playing through the memories, customizing mc and cove, and breezing through Our Life (get it?)) were just even MORE amazing to be truthful, i can't even begin to EXPLAIN!!!
the representation of lgbtq+, different sexualities, autism, divorced parents (lolol specific but close to home for me), transitioning, nostalgia, oh my god... i wish i could replay this game again for the first time. i've literally never felt so emotional over a game. everything in this game and all the components just remind you of how beautiful growing up is and how cherishing all the memories as you grow are so important, because they'll eventually all change, and you'll be reminiscing in no time. just like in my life, i wish i could replay this game over and over and experience specific moments again. luckily, in this game, with the amazingly creative mechanics, that is possible!! the mechanics are such an important part of the game, and huge credits big time to whoever reinvented my standards of creativity because the levels of it in this game are unbeatable!!!!
i swear i just want to pepper my cutie cove with kisses everywhere, i love him and his fishie pets. to be truthful yet again, cove holden has increased my standards just as the game did. it seems devs must be some otherworldly people because i think, dear, GBPatch, you can read our minds and give us exactly what we want. there is no doubt that i'll be having my grimy hands on those DLCs in NOOOO TIME!! getting married.. nsfw... BAXTER?! the content is just amazing and you keep adding on to it.. I CAN'T CATCH UP!!
anyways, i think i've left a review somewhat large enough to convey my message. but to summarize,,, i will never, ever, forget this game, whether it be the beautifully written cast, or the creative, revolutionary mechanics-- i think that this is hands down one of the most beautiful vns ever on itch io. i don't even know how i'm experiencing this for FREE?!?!?! like... GBPatch, i think you're a blessing from the gods. please never stop writing and creating games. i hope gang gets rich and successful, if that hasn't happened already considering the amount of love people give to this game (which is more than deserved)!!!! it felt like i actually lived a whole different life in a whole different setting and i would die to relive it again.. and again.. and again. growing up was definitely such an important thing to me and it feels like i can relive everything that has already passed me through this game. its so painfully bittersweet and again, so nostalgic. how we get to choose our own path, create and develop new relationships, always getting multiple choices in whatever situation we're in.. as i said, it's like we're living a smooth sailing life in an amazing place with amazing people. this comment has become extremely long, but words can only describe so much of how my heart aches for this game.

I have so much things to say about this absolutely beautiful game... I swear I've been replaying all the endings and scripting in my mind about what I should write about every time I came across something that shocked me. First of all, the plot and storyline is so creative and unique, it's something that will keep you entertained for as long as you play. And so, that was the case with me, ESPECIALLY when I started new playthroughs and saw many options and things that were altered by the previous endings/playthroughs. It was so shocking and creative!!! Not only are the storyline and endings phenomenal, but I love how realistic Yasha's character is, especially after going through hundreds of lifetimes, being reborn, killing your soulmate... even if I find him creepy, it really does justify his behaviour. His character is complex and so interesting, I swear the writer deserves an oscar!!! I played half the game muted, so I didn't know that they were voiced, until one random hour in the night, I unmuted my laptop and heard JASON HALL'S BEAUTIFUL, ASTONISHING VOICE. OH LORD JUST TAKE ME AWAY. Sort of unrelated, but when I knew Sage, Joseph Chapman, and V all had the same voice actor... I knew I had a type. Although I do love Yasha, Sage is the HOTTEST GUY EVER, so sweet, I love him so much, I love his character design, his EVERYTHING!!! And Jason Hall's voice acting and ending 10 just made me love his character even more. Sorry Yasha, but as someone who has played through all the endings in the midst of the night, I'm on TEAM SAGE FOREVER!!! I don't know how I didn't discover this game earlier, which was a fault on my part, but this is definitely a 5 star VN!! Never stop writing and drawing ever, it's in your blood!!

I don't remember much about this game since I played it a while ago (a few moths back, I think i do remember commenting before??!!), but the artstyle and even the choices and plot are SUPER interesting!!! Bonus, a really hot, sexy voice accompanies you every where you go. Who could EVER turn down this game???? SO BASICALLY HES A SUPER HOT, OBSESSIVE... VOICEBANK??? Aka a virus who i'm not sure is a human or an actual depiction of a much too advanced AI virus who falls deeply in love with you and never wants to let you go. He even sabotages the advanced technology you have to make you never abandon his voice bank. ALSO, THERE ARE VOCALOID REFERENCES IN HERE!!! BECAUSE HE IS A VOCALOID BASICALLY HAHAHKAUHAUHAUPFHWUISHSHAHAA. I LOVE VOCALOID! In the first song you use him in, the THUMBNAIL of the MV is the Love Is War thumbnail!!!!!!! I THINKKKK!! (I do remember leaving a comment about this game earlier about this so!!) Anyways, other than the vocaloid references, there are a lot of dark elements that tie the game together. MC is another depressed, yet succesful, dark and sad music producer, and the voicebank lowk takes advantage of that. So very obviously this game false into the yandere/dependent/toxic/manipulative genre!! Overall, very nice game!!!!!! THANK YOU SO MUCH FOR CREATING THIS!!!
The love between Anselm and us is so heartwarming and wholesome. I want to see so much more content of him... he's just too adorable with the way he talks about us and to us!! But, I'm not sure if I can say the same when he's.. probably got another side to him.
Everything was so well made, and Clyde's weird asshole nice guy creep just pissed me off so bad. Thank god someone in shining metal armor was there to be a good ol hero. Will most likely never know who it was, but thank god.
Other than the characters, thank you so much for the beautiful cutscenes and especially the writing!! I swear I felt the writing creep into my soul and at one point, I could just imagine every scene perfectly. Never stop writing; it's in your blood!! I especially love how realistic the outcomes are, in the sense of fight or flight senses and how people react to these terrifying situations. Like, I thought it was so relatable when after all that situation with the creep we say "I wish I could've punched him" or something along those lines.. definitely something i would think. LMFAO

so glad to own a windows computer!!! this game is absolutely AMAZING. the ui, the phone, the ART AND ANIMATIONS??? this game deserves a STANDING OVATION. the interactions, ui, and the minigames are all SO well made it is genuinely ineffable. it added so much to the game and made it lowk fun!! because of this, this is probably one of the BEST demo vns i've literally ever played. the backgrounds, animations, art, and map are so well made and gorgeous, and it all reflects on the themes of the game so deeply. i'm a big sucker for good art, so most of the time i was just staring at ren and the boys lolol!!!! this is definitely peak. i think i've honestly struck gold. this is def one of my favourite vns ever, with all contributing factors such as the fun mini games and colourful setup that you see throughout the game. the art is also ON POINT, and i'm so genuinely obsessed with the artstyle!!! i love adi SOOO much and i'm so excited for the full game!!! hoping for more updates soon-- a lot of vns don't have such interactive components in their games but this does, which i absolutely love and need more of!! i also am desperate for more of adisorn... im pretty experienced in vns and whatnot as ive been playing for one to two years now, and to be honest, in these types of games there's no viruses at all. every game i've downloaded so far hasn't given me a virus. i play on windows and ofc antivirus has popped up a few times but i usually just go on with running it anyway. there isn't any definitive proof about whether there's a virus or not, but consider my words carefully.
z and his voice is so cute!! character designs are lowkey on point which i'm obsessed with haha... i love the voicing and art, and the conversations are honestly really well thought out!! its so fun to interact with z at the bar every night. wish z would appear whenever i went to the bar! i additionally also am in love with the character customization hehehehhahaha
camden is SO fine i want him SO bad. the game was super neat, the tension and eeriness of everything was pieced together really well! i got the leg and ear ending first which was prettyy shocking to me, lolol... i hope there'll be more good and bad endings as the story progresses! the character designs were super duper cute (hot even) and i really... really... really... hope we can maybe romance camden in the future!
