Thank you for being so patient throughout this process!

Thank YOU for your patience throughout this!

Hello my friends, I've just sent this to you via email, but I want to post it here too:

I hope you're all doing well. Thank you for being so patient with the TTRPGs for Palestine itch bundle setup - I truly appreciate it.

I have some really exciting news to share with you all! We are officially ready to kick off the approval process for the bundle. Please take a moment to approve your entries here.

Just a heads up, the bundle is scheduled to go live from June 1st to June 30th. I decided on these dates for a few reasons - to show our support for the TTRPGs for Trans Rights - West Virginia charity bundle that recently launched, to give everyone enough time to review and approve their games before the launch, and to give us all a chance to catch our breath after the success of the TTRPGs for Palestine via tiltify bundle (which is going great, by the way!)

Once again, thank you for your patience and for being a part of this amazing cause. Your contributions are truly making a difference!

If you would like to stay informed about future charity bundles that I plan to organize, please provide your email address here here.

Hi folks! The bundle via tiltify is LIVE - more info on donating/supporting it here: https://x.com/jesthehuman/status/1778801201448132954

Itch still hasn't updated my ticket about our itch bundle and making MAP the recipients of the fundraising. I'm sorry it's taking so long. I'm not losing hope, I'm reaching out them often through discord, twitter, and email. I'll let y'all know asap when it's time to move forward.

Hey folks! The latest update is that another charity bundle finally got greenlit and is launching soon and I received word that itch is trying to work on my itch support ticket today to make MAP the recipient of our funds! (YAY!) I will keep y'all updated as I wait for further communications from itch - but for now here is my plan:

The TTRPGs for Palestine via tiltify will go live on Friday, April 12 until April 30 as intended. Please check out this submission form if you'd like to submit your game to that as well: Submission form for TTRPGs for Palestine - Google Forms

If everything goes smoothly with itch making MAP the recipients of the itch bundle and all our participants approve the bundle in a timely manner, we will launch on May 13 and be live until May 31. Like I stated earlier, I will keep y'all in the loop as soon as I get updates. Thank you for your patience, I truly do appreciate it!

Unfortunately this bundle and the other charity bundles that were formed in 2024 haven’t received communication in moving forward from itch yet. Thats why I’ve created the TTRPGs for Palestine via Tiltify bundle.

Hi there, I am the organizer of TTRPGs for Palestine and know of a Video Games for Palestine and Trans Rights bundles that have all gone unanswered in moving forward with the bundles which all have 300+ games in them. I am worried about this trend of non-communication from itch and was hoping I could gain some insight on if anyone else is experiencing this issue for large charity bundles?

Thanks so much! Wishing you safe travels!

Hi Katherine, I will make a post in the Q&S forum this coming week, thank you for the suggestion!

Hello friends, there is no update from itch regarding our bundle and unfortunately, I have learned that two other charity bundles are facing similar communication issues. As soon as we hear from itch we will move forward with this bundle.

This bundle was created to support those experiencing the genocide so I will not let that deter us from raising these incredibly necessary funds so while we wait for itch, I am going to be making a bundle utilizing tilitfy and google sheets. Please read additional information in this twitter thread: https://x.com/jesthehuman/status/1773024856109400149?s=2

Hi friends, we are still waiting for itch to make MAP the recipient of the charity bundle. I have made this public tweet in hopes that it will help move things along because my requests in the official itch discord and via email have gone ignored. As always, I'll keep y'all posted when I hear back / see any movement.

Thank you for your patience, it is incredibly appreciated!

Thank you for the update! I'm so glad to hear they've been onboarded and received their donations. I have to wait for itch to update the bundle to have the proceeds go to MAP (right now they are set to me and that is NOT what we want) As soon as this is fixed y'all will be receiving lots of updates from me :)

Hi Ed, unfortunately no contacts at itch. The bundle is most certainly getting extended. I want it to be live for at least 3 weeks, if not a full month. Will keep y'all posted :)

My friends, I wish I had a better update, but it has been two weeks since I asked for an update on MAP's onboarding status and I have gotten radio silence. I have reached out multiple times through multiple avenues and will continue doing so until I hear back from them.

As a reminder, the moment I hear back that we can move forward I will be sending out an email for the bundle approval process, tweeting about it and mentioning it in my newsletter. I do not want anyone to miss being able to approve their submission in the bundle but we will need to move incredibly swiftly due to the time the it is taking for the onboarding.

I'm so sorry this is taking so long. Thank you for your support and extreme amounts of patience.

Hello all, I am still waiting to hear back from itch - their last response was on Feb 29 that they are still onboarding Medical Aid for Palestinians. I have followed up again just now (literally moments before typing this) and hope to hear back as soon as possible.

I am so incredibly grateful for y'alls patience and generosity in supporting such a worthy cause.

The email has not been sent out yet. I am waiting on itch to confirm. I'll make another update for everyone.

(1 edit)

Hello all, I am having a tough time getting into contact with the charities stated in the bundle. Medical Aid for Palestine is being onboarded as a charity into itch's system as I type this update. I am thinking it makes the most sense to support MAP - Medical Aid for Palestinians (who has a very similar mission to PCRF) for the bundle. I am going to update the jam game and future correspondences with MAP. If you wish to remove your game from the bundle due to the charity switch, I completely understand, you may email me at jesthehuman@gmail.com to do so.

I will work with itch to create the charity bundle as soon as the charity is onboarded and will be emailing you all shortly after to approve the bundle. Thank you so much for your patience as we work to get this charity bundle off the ground and into the wild to support Palestine.

Hi folks! Another update, itch has responded and is helping transfer the submissions into a charity bundle - as of this week, itch requires charities to be onboarded into their payment system BEFORE the charity bundle can go live. I have reached out to PCRF to start this process. After they are onboarded I will send an email to everyone who submitted their games to the jam to approve the bundle. The bundle cannot go live until all participants have approved the bundle. There will be a 3 day approval period for all the participants to approve the bundle and then the charity bundle will go live (if you do not approve your submission in that amount of time, you will unfortunately need to be pruned from the bundle to help the bundle go live as close to on time as possible.)

There will be email reminders, posts in the jam, and twitter to help folks with the approval process.

Thank you all for your patience and support!

TTRPGs for Palestine community · Created a new topic Update

Hi everyone, wanted to give a quick update that I have requested itch.io to migrate the game jam submissions to a charity bundle. I will keep everyone updated as this progresses on this page as well as my twitter. Thank you all for your incredible support!
