really awesome concept! I really enjoyed it and i could see a lot of potential for even more levels in the future! My only critique is that the hitboxes on the bombs were a little small and hard to perfectly place your mouse cursor over. I had a lot of fun with this game!

AMAZINGGG! I loved every second! A fun, charming, short little game! I coudl tell you put a lot of attention and care into every detail :) the meow cue to tell you the cat was ready to be pet again, setting your alarm to get more time on sunday, the rubix cube being a long term investment, etc. - all really clever design choices! and the sound design was spot on!
AMAZING art! you have a very unique style and your game really stands out from it :) Unfortunately, it is a little difficult to tell where there is something I need to jump over or avoid because these obstacles blend in with the background too well. Otherwise, a fun platformer with a brilliant theming! All 5 stars on artwork, without a doubt!
this was a really fun and funny game! I liked the frantic feel to it. my only critique was maybe you should try a version where the hands are flipped over to match the player's hand position on the keyboard? But then again, maybe the added difficulty was intentional? I had a lot of fun with this! :)
AWESOME submission! I love the concept and it is perfect for this game jam theme! The stress was very real and the situation felt dire - great job setting the tone! I my only critique was that there's a lot going on in the UI, but it was really small and a little difficult to see. Otherwise, an amazing experience! It was really cool how you implemented the percentages of players who succeeded and failed, as well!
Amazing stuff! The art and environment are great - that combined with the music made a very interesting surreal, semi-horror atmosphere. The mechanics were a lot to take in at first, but once I understood them, I was flowing. My only critique is that some details were hard to notice, like how long the lantern lasts, or whether I successfully braced for my landing (might be a bug, but it played the leg break sound effect even if I didn't lose any health), but otherwise the gameplay is very fun and I could definitely see this being a full game someday! :)
I 100% agree - late in development we realized starting a level by making the palyer wait can be a little boring. We also thought about adding a fast forward button, but by that time we were just too exhausted to add more features zzz
Thanks for telling us about that bug! Once the game jam scoring window passes, we hope to clean up some things like that
Haha it's funny you mention shift - the original idea for this game was an infinite runner like geometry dash but you would flip between black and white, to avoid obstacles. It eventually evolved into a platformer because we felt like there would be more room for fun gameplay mechanics. One of my friends said the idea was reminding him of an old flash game, so we looked it up and there it was - Shift! Funny how development works and you can end up with something similar. I'm glad you discovered the portal-like momentum. There are actually levels later on that make you use that mechanic! Thanks for the feedback :)
A very neat and cute concept! The way the player body morphs into your next number was really cool to see. To be honest, there were many numbers I didn't use and mostly stuck with using 0 for easy flat-ground movement, and 1 for narrow holes. There were some neat moments where I had to get creative and identify which number had the best geometry

very cute game! The art style is very nice and the world was very captivating. Passing by the old buildings really gave a good sense of the state the world was in and how important it was to keep lil bud alive.
My only feedback is it was a little hard to understand the health bars at first, and fighting the bugs off was a little clunky. Doesn't detract from the obvious quality you put into this one, though!
