The UI is honestly fine overall just wanted to share what i noticed :).

In regards to more player agency, not to needlessly plug my own game but I added a mechanic where you spin your cursor around in the opposite direction to slow down the wheel during a spin. (though people have a really hard time understanding that mechanic in my game 😭)

For your game if you wanted to give more direct control I imagine something like rapidly pressing spacebar slows down the wheel slightly, and the faster you press the more you slow it down. So you can nudge the result if you get good and judging the spin and how fast to slow it down. But also i assume your wheel decides the result as soon as it starts spinning?

Amazing animations and art work, really stellar, some of the UI could do with being moved from the edge of the screen though. I also wish I had a better understand of what a super spin was/what it did. The modifiers feels fun and interesting, its a fun short game though the game often felt out of my hands which can be frustrating

I think the art was nice, though I dont really understand what it is I'm hitting to spin jump. I found the mechanic found and the audio fairly decent. The spacing on some of the levels felt frustrating rather than challenging (ie the first set of back and forth jumps on level 2)

I enjoyed the unique take on the theme and the cute art, I would say I wish the movement buffering was a few less, at one point I accidentally lost track of what was happening and sort of just had to watch all my queue'd moves play out, but I found having a movement queue of some size a huge QoL and the game had a lot of other touches that clearly showed a love and care for the game

Hi Fokos, yeah sadly I'm already using CPU particles, its mainly a shader compilation issue, each new wheel also causes lag spikes, I wanted to add a robust shader compilation fix but didn't have time. Glad you had fun

I liked the art and I think the idea of spinning a wheel to decide the employees punishment was really funny, as others said it was quite short and I think some more audio, both ambient, music, and reaction sounds would go a long way

I don't know what aspects of the models you created but some tips: the dealer could use with the shading being set to shade-smooth (it should carry through on export?), also the text about the wheel could use a higher resolution, I believe this can be best achieved by increasing the resolution of your subviewport and then the text in turn if needed. Otherwise I liked the unique mechanics though I did find them a bit overwhelming and I think the game would benefit from slowly introducing them and maybe an easier camera angle to view the board

Great vibes, great art, some of the UI could use work (not being able to see the cost unless I click was particularly confusing. I was also briefly confused about if the upgrades were per windmill or not but figured out they were universal. A simple but very pleasant game

Absolutely love the art, the mixing on the audio could use some work, the spinning music and the bg music often mix together and make it a bit overwhelming audio-wise

pretty simple but well executed game, would have had fun playing a game like this on newgrounds or something back in the day

I like the idea of the game but at the end of the day I could only play for a couple levels because the motion was giving me a headache, I think the drifting mechanic and score system and UI were all quite good though!

Great  visuals and fun take on a bullet hell/heaven, I don't know why but I couldn't full screen the game and had seemingly no audio

Fun little game, I like the sound effects and all the types of chips. One thing I will say is I wish the wheel itself was a bit larger, especially if you don't play fullscreen it is very hard to read.

I adore the art style of this game (though I wish the ticker for the wheel didn't blend in with the wheels red rim so much). The gameplay is relatively simple but I enjoy it and the art+sound makes it still enjoyable, though the wheel took awhile to stop spinning and I got tired of waiting so long

The art style is super cute and fun, the visuals are pretty good, I wish the minigames had very brief intro timer to give me a second to understand what I'm looking at but also I know some people dont want to wait. Also it seems like I was winning every minigame regardless of the actually score

(1 edit)

The game is interesting, though I kept getting shot by enemies before I could do anything when entering certain rooms. I enjoyed the visuals more than anything, a few of the spells had very fun effects like Radium

I don't really understand how it aligns with the theme of spin to win though?

I enjoyed it quite a bit, the physics on the flinging feels really good and I love the visuals

I think the game is good, adding the next layer of upgrades or a clear win condition, attacking enemies, would be awesome
