First off, huge thanks for playing!!! I’d like to address everything so I’ll go one by one.

I appreciate your feedback on the Sterlings. Noted.

Most that is in the screen in the beginning has tool tips but maybe I should allow them to show up quicker. Right now there is a delay that is clearly too long. No problem quick fix

You click the +100 button to get stars but this was originally the “watch ads to get 100 stars” button so to your later point, ads are gross these days so I changed the button out but forgot to change verbiage on the achievement. But there were never going to be actual ads.

Thanks for finding the clickable quest progress bar. I’ll fix that

unfortunately It’s explained in the dialog that mom is coming the longer the baby stays at the dock the sooner mom gets there and ends your run.

The way the game should play is. Gain stars to purchase ingredients. Back cookies from the ingredients in the ovens. The more ovens you purchase, the more cookies are baked at a time. Which means the more cookies you can feed the monster to keep him away from the dock. Prestige to the last oven to win!  But that’s clearly not clear. I’ll figure it out.

Thanks so much for the thorough look at it

OK cool. I'll put a skip dialog button on there. Though it does explain what's going on. But thank you for your feedback!

This is an awesome adventure!! Well done

The was increasingly interesting. As I continued, things became clearer and clearer. I love how your games have simple mechanics and I can pretty consistently understand what I need to do. Working on getting mine like that

Star Academy Capsule

The game can be played in the browser.
**The first load takes a minute, so hit run and then go grab some water or something**

Star Academy UMS is an incremental game with roguelite elements. The protagonist is Misty Sterling (Wife of Professor Sterling). He is the protector of Star Island. An island that houses the prestigious Star Academy. Every Wednesday, the professor has to go on a private tutoring session with their son, thus leaving the island unguarded. Misty steps in to provide aid and is visited by a cute, yet dangerous visitor. His name is Wubbles, the dragon-whale monster. And since he's a baby, you know Mom is somewhere looking for him. Can Misty protect the island with an angry island-sized mom headed straight for them?

This demo was insane!! Great job!

the first load take a while. but after that, it works. smh I'm working on why that first load takes for ever. I think it's the textures

as promised, here is an early look at mine @lectvs
please let me know what you think.

I'm working on it. I'm going to actually be putting my demo online in the next couple weeks. but I'm getting married sunday so I haven't had as much time to work on it lol

At first I was confused how to shoot the laser. Once I figured that out, I got pretty good at timing the ships. The I just started spamming bullets

I got 14 consistently. I can't get more. smh I tried but I like this. I could get lost trying to beat my high score

You're really good at this. Very simple game, with consistent polish across each title. I love how you make games. It's starting to reshape what I feel can be done in games.

I watched Idle Cub play your game on YouTube. I had to come try it out myself. This game is very well done. It is nice and short, and to the point. The next game I make will be more focused like this.

Hey. Just wanted to say well done on nailing such an engaging game. I had no idea this paths gameplay could be adapted like this.

Thanks so much for the feedback bro!!!

I'm actually working on a tutorial for the different ways to throw punches.
I may be wrong, but what I think is going on is, it is terribly unclear how to properly throw uppercuts and hooks.

For example,
the proper way to throw a hook:

You start by leaning some direction.
(left : W | back : S | right : D)
Then you pause for a moment.
There is an indicator on the lean direction text at the bottom of the screen.
(it turns from white to red)
Once it changes color, left or right click triggers the hook on the related hand
(left click : left hook | right click : right hook)

I'm not sure if this was clear when look at the instructions. It's similar to some fighting game mechanics I think I remember playing when I was younger. Where there is a "hold/pause time" in input, before triggering a momentary change in state of the character.
