i don't know if im entirely looking too much into this but everywhere i look in this i see "inspired by undertale" written all over it. i love undertale so maybe im just projecting, but it feels like im going insane everytime it's like "Despite everything, (blah blah)" or its occasional mentions of "hopes and dreams" or "determination", even the *prince's* name is Az'Lean, which ive just been calling Asriel in my head. The main character's position is even similar to that of undertale's, with it being a different species shown the love and kindness of the enemy of their blood species, acting as a sort of ambassador between the two, deciding the fate of both. when the humans discussed building a magic barrier to keep the monsters out i was internally screaming at my screen thinking "This is just like Undertale"
again none of this is negative, i appreciate it, but after yet another "Despite everything" i HAD to say something about it here lol
