I found out what I was doing wrong. The door to the theater was behind the fetish club, so I didn't know it existed. I got the flyer fairly early in the story, but couldn't find the theater.
I cleared out all of the alerts, and talking to everyone doesn't trigger anything new. I even recruited the puppy into my group.
I originally bought this game on STEAM. Is the updated build the same as the STEAM build? Because I don't remember meeting KC in the game I played.
