Really clever concept! Enjoyed this a lot - the mystery was a lot of fun to figure out. Would have loved to see Callum himself get chunky, but at least we got Marcus!
Thank you very much! I really enjoyed exploring the darker sides of a kink that already leans a bit towards dark, and I think that shows in the writing. The misery and total helplessness is either part of the fun, or it's effective horror - it depends on the reader!
The Jarby you meet in this game is the "baseline" for Jarby - he's not an evil twin or anything, he's just evil. I definitely get how that can be off-putting, and I'm actually not sure why having a fursona like him appeals to me so much, but it does. Without getting too deep, maybe he's an escape from having so much empathy for others? Or feeling like I don't have control? Hard to say!
I'm really glad you brought up VTM! I absolutely adore that setting, and it's a big reason why Jarby is a vampire bat. He'd be a Tzimisce for sure.

The mahjong quiz started as a half-joke to Webster since he's the one who got me into mahjong irl, but then I ended up doubling down. I figured it would not be well received by any non-players, but hopefully the checkpoint at the start prevented folks from wasting too much time. I regularly play mahjong now with someone who reached out after finding that ending, so no regrets!
Good to know RE: the text color mistake - I have a doc of all the errors I’ve caught, but updating the game file seems to notify every follower, so I’m holding off until I either have a long list of corrections or have a more significant update ready.
Great job finding all of the endings! Dillon’s thrall ending was the first one I wrote, and Dillon’s freedom ending was the last - they’re also my favorite endings. I just really enjoyed writing Dillon, which I didn’t expect when I initially started working on him. Pretty sure he’s got the most dialogue, too.
Though everyone was a lot of fun to flesh out, even Throcky, who is an absolute, irredeemable piece of shit. I put a lot of effort into each of the boys and tried my best to make them feel distinct, down to their brand of hypnosis and relationship with Jarby.
It’s probably unusual for a porn game to feature a protagonist who’s super not into their situation, but the horror and revulsion and panic from Four’s perspective is what’s most hot for me, so sex scenes were saved for the thrall endings where Four is made to feel lust for Jarby and the other boys.
As a result, I can’t see (non-hypnotized) Four wanting to do anything sexual with Jarby, even if the player might, but an ending focusing more on Jarby would be nice. You might’ve seen it already, I have an idea for at least one more ending, and it would mainly involve Jarby and an entity related to the statuette in the safe. Even that ending would be “bittersweet,” though!

I did want to include an ending where multiple thralls are freed (a possible best ending), but at 12 endings already I realized I needed to wrap things up. At some point, I want to go back and include an ending where you make a pact with the demon depicted by the statuette and take control, but even that would be at a cost. Even the "good" endings have to be imperfect!

I'd like to go back and add more endings, but I haven't had as much time and energy lately since I've been focusing on my career. Hopefully I can get back to working on fun stuff soon!
It would be technically possible to add a Spanish translation, but at 55k words that would essentially be the same as translating a short novel, and my Spanish is extremely poor. Even if I found a willing translator, integrating the translations into the game (or even making a separate version) would take a lot of time, unfortunately.

Are you referring to the app? I didn't know itch.io had one until just now. I looked into downloading it for troubleshooting, but it's not available for my device.
What I've done on my end is uploaded another file (enthralled1.1.2.html), made it the primary file, and gave it the same settings as the last file. I'm not sure why it wouldn't be installable. Do you need the older file?
Alas, Three's fate was pretty much sealed many hundreds of pounds ago 😔 It's unlikely, but there are two endings where he could be rescued in the future, if things go extremely well!
Thank you for playing! I definitely get where you're coming from - the overall tone is fairly bleak, and that's not often what people seek out in a porn game. Though there are certainly endings where you can find happiness, even if that happiness comes at a cost.
And beyond the smuttiness, I wanted to write a story with horror and tension - I can't help but take "This is probably the darkest Hypnosis can go" as a compliment lol

It was intentional that even the better endings are flawed - either you're giving something up or there's more difficulty to come. It's a horny game, but not a happy game lol
I'd like to go back and add some additional endings in the future, including one where you can take control. Though even an ending like that won't be perfect!
