I think in the option to either scold him or help him look after himself in shift 2, choose help him and in shift 3 when you go to his apartment he takes a shower first thing so hes not in the living room and then you can look at his phone xx

In Lanes route, in his apartment, go to the corridor and look at the stuff, next to his driver license and those CDs is a bunch of papers, click it twice over and youll see its papers from his old bartending job and on the top right hover over the phone number and click it.
