Hey there! Did you ever figure this out? I just downloaded from an incognito tab to test it out, so hopefully this helps:
After hitting "Browse..." on the Pointers tab, the options that first pop-up are your computer's default cursors. You will need to find the folder labeled CatPawCursors-2.0 b > CatPawCursors-2.0 > cur files and select the file from there.

I really enjoyed this!!! I loved the manga-aesthetic and the way each scene was set up. I also liked the pops of colour in the character sprites!! Iago's growth was very satisfying to read too :)
The ghost designs were rad! A lil creepy in a good way :D And not in a way that distracts from the rest of the art.
Whenever the battle music queued up I got super pumped right away!!!
I thought the cinematography for the part in the church with the trio encountering the ghost was also really great!! The switch from static paneling to scrolling really pulled me in (in the same way the battle music did!)
Other miscellaneous thoughts: The game page is so good and I loved how the main menu loads in-- I could tell I would like this right away just from those two things alone!!
This was fun!!! I like how the pauses in the game forces you to slow down and rly adds to the feeling of it being a real-time texted convo! Despite the pressure of waiting for a text and my bad habit of being a chronic ghoster lol it also kinda made me want to message my own friends again :P
I fumbled a few of the choices here and there (and also wanted to see what Iggy's response would be to some of them) so I played a few times! I really liked genzou's birthday text scenes!!!! if you don't remind iggy he texts you the next day first and idk i just thought that was a nice touch!! Especially as someone who has had this convo (being iggy) with ppl multiple times lol
The transition from texting into irl with the snow was also wonderfully done too! And then how the menu screen changed!!! it made me smile :D
Thanks for playing, and the lengthy review!!
The browser critique about the pixelated sprites actually reminded me that I never updated the progressive downloads file ^^; So I'm especially grateful for that-- hopefully it's more seamless now! And the particle suggestion is interesting!! I'm not quite sure how to do that in Ren'Py right now, but I'll definitely look into it if I ever revisit this.
I was also personally worried about whether or not the GUI looked good enough, so those comments also mean a lot to me :) I hoped you enjoyed your time in the attic! Thank you again!
I loved the UI!! and how Felicity was written!! and the VA ("got rid of him :)" with the sparkles in her eyes def made me laugh and decide to never cross her)! and ofc the shading on the character :D I also really enjoyed that it's a happy ending no matter what, whether you decided to stay friends or become a couple :)
This was so enjoyable!! Hearing the descriptions for the cake flavours made me really crave some. I paused playing halfway through to send my friends a message about it saying "i love this patissier info dumping cake knowledge on me" (partially in an effort to get them to play it too... and for them to send me their own cake facts). I found her passion for baking endearing and the aro allegory wonderfully executed!!
The colour palette and UI is super appealing too :D I loved it
I'm so so glad you liked this lil story!! Thank you for playing!
I actually designed Allin back when I was a teenager and forgot about them lol OTL,, Very glad I randomly thought about him when the jam started! I never gave him any lore back then, but I fell in love with him while writing >u< Hopefully I can explore their character more in the future!!
Thanks again for the kind words, and for loving Allin too 🥺
