This game only takes 10 minutes, but it is so compact and atmospheric. It starts romantically and evolves into a complex, melancholic, yet beautiful feeling. The ending made me laugh, too! The emotions are concise but full, and the minimal dialogue is perfect.
(Spoilers below)
At first, I was a bit confused by the mechanics about if keeping as many matches as possible, but that actually added to the realism of being lost in the snow. When the frostbite effect appeared, I felt a real sense of unease. Even though I hoped there was no death" mechanic, I kept lighting matches on the way back just for some peace of mind I really didn't want to fail the kitten.
I wasn't sure if I would make it, but I felt determined to reach the end just to share that beautiful memory with the cat. When the fireworks finally lit up and changed the colors of the trees, it was stunning. I felt a strong urge to hug the kitten. When it said "That's it," I knew I would remember this moment forever.
The ending was hilarious. Thank you for making such a wonderful experience!
