Great game! As someone who had teh same idea, i love how you made it a FPS and had a points system, as well as adding progression with killing multiple enemies. variety is the one thing i wish I had in my game.

only thing, which im sure has been mentioned, is that the enemies shoot quite fast. it means that the player cant even catch a break because they always have to move and dodge. other than that small balance change, this game is great!

Thanks, i really enjoyed this project and ill definitely keep coding. Thanks for playing!

Thank you!

The bug might bw caused by screen resolution, its the reason i turned off fullscreen for this game, for some reason the background wouldnt adapt to different resolutions. Sorry about that!

i love the idea of this game, and the visuals are stunning. ambience is also really well done.

the only thing i can really complain about is the difficulty. The core runs out of charge way too fast, and enemies attack too often imo. its hard to even get a single kill. other than that, great game

thanks for playing!

the black bars over the ammo is a visual glitch i had when making the game. in the editor they were fine, i checked my sprite sheet alignment multiple times, but nothing helped. im sorry if it really annoyed you.

Quite a good game! One of the few games where you're not the one spinning something, and instead have to adapt to existing conditions. The art is beautiful, the choices for your planet are all useful in their own way and well thought out, and the enemies are balanced. the game even has lore

i know this is a common complaint, but either more slots/growing the planet over time or maybe upgrading your existing tools would've made the gameplay loop fun for much longer.

that does not, under any means, mean that this game is bad however. its great

Great game! Loved the take on the "spin" theme, and how you managed to make a balatro-like game out of clothes.

If i were to give advice for next time, add more sound/music. even some simple lo fi chords in the background could really spice this game up and make it much more enjoyable. another thing is something to make it easier to tell what clothes you're picking up, maybe a shadow underneath or a highlight.

to be clear, these are small improvements, qol changes, even, since this is a good game nonetheless. great job!

thanks for the feedback, means a lot to me.

i agree about missing variety between levels, thats something that i really wish i'd done because it wouldve made the game so much better

first time hearing the ammo one, but i see where you're coming from. thanks for playing!

glad to see im not the only one with a gun game, and you clearly did much better.

the art and music is INSANE, i cant believe you did this alone in a week. The gameplay loop is genius and genuinely fun, and everything in this game is done with attention to the very last detail. this game is closer to five stars from me than any game in this jam. perfect!

really good idea and a different take on the game for sure! The delay on the scalpel also made the game quite challenging, while also quite fun simultaneously. the art style was also great.

the lack of background music, even just a quick 10 second loop, wouldve made this game feel better imo, and it was a bit difficult to get a hang of, but nonetheless still a good game.

This game is just so good. The gameplay, creativity, artstyle and mechanics make this game almost perfect. It is very challenging, which might make it not as enticing for others, but apart from that there isnt really anything bringing this game down. good job!

very nice game, i love it. unique take on the theme, fun gameplay, beautiful graphics! the only thing is that there's no sound other than sound effects, even a singular instrument quietly tinkling away wouldve maken me give this game 4+ stars in all categories.

that doesnt mean your game isnt fantastic though. great job!

Amazing, one of my favourite games in this jam.

it fits the theme perfectly, its easy to pick up but doesnt get boring fast, and the artistic side of it is great too!

thank you!

yeah, i agree, it does get repetitive after a while. im glad you enjoyed it anyway!

pretty good, i love the dnd-like system of a randomized attack, great implementation of the theme. awesome how it was set in a circus, too

absolute cinema

five starts for ALL categories, perfection

glad you enjoyed it pardner, seems your own gunspinning was so good it astonished yourself!
glad you enjoyed my game

thank you so much!

thanks!

thanks! I'll admit that tutorials and making the game more intuitive is one of the things i need to work on, but i appreciate your review!

great idea, great execution. i personally just couldnt grasp the controls, even though i really wanted to, and struggled with even getting past the tutorial. it might just be me, but the wheel felt really weird. great game though.

EDIT: i watched the video and learned that you actually have to spin your mouse not move it left to right (just me being stupid) and i have to say, this game is in fact very fun. it feels like a janky driving game, but in a good way, and the levels feel very open which gives you lots of space to drift around. great concept AND execution, bumped up enjoyment and creativity.

This gave me red ball 4 vibes, which is really good, i loved your unique take on the theme. the shop being messed up because of resolution is a shame, i had the same problem with my game that caused me to turn off the fullscreen option, and even though i know its not really your fault and its a game jam, it still kinda bugged me. dosent change the fact that the game was still fun, and i gave you about 3.5 stars overall. great game!

Personally, as a fan of puzzle platformer games, i loved your project. the art was amazing, the gameplay idea was amazing, and even the music was pretty good. the one thing that kinda bugged me was that some parts of the levels felt easy to figure out, but harder to do. that might be just me though, so i still gave you 4 stars in enjoyment. hope you do well :)

impressive graphing aside, this is a genuinely good game that fits the theme very well. good job!
