#FREEMOONKEY!

Me every night during the game jam period fr.
What a charming game! The rhyming voice lines add such a special touch, even though the game didn't have too much. I counted every single sheep, I was so invested in falling asleep!

Ooooh! Good take on the theme! I'm not a sporty person at all, so the fact I enjoyed this really speaks to quality of the puzzle aspect. It was quite difficult, in a good way. One piece of feedback I'll give is that I'd love to see just a little bit more juice when connecting the paths between the players.

Gave me the nostalgic vibes of a ps2 game! I liked the direction you took with the art but the movement still needed a little polish. It was hard to hit enemies at times.

I like the look, style, and idea of this game! But to echo a previous comment, I got stuck and couldn't figure out how to progress. I also wish there was a fullscreen option (my monitor's aspect ratio cut off part of the game).

Great art! Great music! And really creative to take on the idea of a hot potato countdown. My only suggestion would be that I wish the countdown reset every time you had the potato - like you had x seconds to pass it on - instead of a continuous one. I really enjoyed it nonetheless, just wanted to give you something to think about :)

I like the jump every 5 seconds mechanic. Very creative idea to spice up a platformer. My only feedback is that the cutscenes were a tad too long and some of the audio a little loud. Also, I like your level design!

HAHAHAH, awww

I've seen a few games with similar concepts but I think this one is the stand out. It has a silly little narrative, really great mini-game style mechanics with enough variation that I was still stressing by room 10. I ended up with rank A, 01:23 remaining! Incredible job by the dev.

Very creative take on the theme!! It was nice and quick. Good job!

I love the ambience of this. My laptop struggled to run it but I can see why with the gorgeous graphics hahaha. My only issue was that nothing happened until floor 85 so I was just waiting for a while.

Achieves the intended purpose well, I just wish that the control layout was a little different. I had trouble moving and trying to attack and parry with WASD/X/Z.

Nothing super creative in terms of gameplay, but enjoyable nonetheless. I wish there was more to the game over part, but very good job getting this out for your first game jam!

YES YES YES. I was giggling and cackling the entire time! I absolutely adore this game - one of my favourites so far. 5/5!

Also, our games have the NYE and catching falling food in common! How wild!

The concept is so funny and I liked how fast paced the movement was. I was ZOOMING through the levels at one point. My only issue was Z to jump - it was difficult to get used to whilst also spamming X to shoot all my money hahaha. Oh and such a funny subversion to have the lava give you money as like a damage effect!

When I first loaded into the game, my expectations weren't very high, so I was very shocked once I started playing! Very good game feel and responsiveness . I had fun just punchin' zombies.

ohhh amazing! I added an easy mode to my game for the same reason but forget to check others' for the same setting hahahah

I just played your game and yeah, agreed. Why am I putting a sphinx tail in the fridge to earn rent money XD

I'm terrible at rhythm games oh my god. I really liked the game design, sound design, and the feel of the game! My only feedback for next time would be toning down the complexity just a touch. I didn't entirely understand how to use the sequencer upgrades, but that could be on me (post-jam exhaustion).

This is incredible. Nothing bad to say whatsoever

I like the concept! It just took me a while to figure out how to activate the jetpack, so some sort of prompt would've been nice.

Great twist on a clicker game!

Genius.

Thank you for including my game!! LOVEE the way you've fit the old meta game concept into this theme. The UI is fantastic. Can't wait to complete my mural!

Incredible for a 4 day jam! The artwork and game feel is top tier

Cannot fault this game whatsoever. Genuinely one of my favourites so far. Incredible job on the game design & the polish for  a 4 day jam!

Really enjoyable platformer! The art design is simple, but this game is proof that gameplay always trumps visuals. I also appreciated the increasing intensity of the music omg.

Very fun!! I really liked the art, the sound design, and especially the difficulty progression system - it started to get really intense! I did have one issue though. Once I got the final "?" speed upgrade, I really struggled to interact with the buildings to pickup orders.

Cool little puzzle. Was pretty easy to figure out once I figured out what 5 was and just watched the countdown clock hahahah. I wish there was some colour feedback on the available symbols to let me know which ones I had already discovered and which ones I hadn't. Good job otherwise :)

Can't believe this was made in 4 days. It feels very polished!

Very cute platformer. It may be the post-jam exhaustion but I could not get past level 2 hahaha. I really like the concept though, very creative with a touch of humour.

Just increased the text size slightly and added a drop shadow. Please let me know what you think!

Thank you! I'm adding a drop shadow to the font & increasing it by a few pixels now. Hopefully that makes it easier to read.

See the loss cutscene to see what happens when you eat this much food XD.

Thanks! Sam (our artist) is INCREDIBLE!

Just played again and I got 4090. Will definitely be coming back to rate this one after the deadline! Incredible work for your first game :)

I feel that. I had to adjust the volume of just about every sound effect for my game in audacity. Highly recommend just learning how to adjust basic audio qualities with it.

Genius

Oh my god this is great. It may be simple but the music, the vibes, the energy really got me hyped. Might be my favourite game I've played yet of the jam submissions! Also, GREAT THUMBNAIL. Saw it and immediately clicked.

Your description is hilarious (the car breaking down and taking the bus). One thing I noticed is that shift dashing through enemies has no sound feedback, like killing others normally. Otherwise, it looks really good and feels great to play!

Has a really good feel to it. It's quite hard, but in a challenging way, like it's rewarding to overcome a level. My only suggestion would be adding some 'juice' to the buttons and UI? Otherwise, very well done!
