Hi, so I bought this plugin, but it doesn't seem to recognise the command input from the fighters setting moves. I input the commands, but it doesn't set off the special "art".

Use the form, the reason why Mephilies does a lot of damage is for the player to use the form the second it is available, until then, fight to survive with items and regens/heals. Because the form becomes auto at the beginning of the fight in one of them. And thanks for playing. :)

UPDATE: I will be on hiatus until next year. Christmas time is stressful. So, I will see you all next year with a small demo to be released around February. Merry Christmas and Happy Holidays, everyone! o/

I actually did mess up a few times regarding the first game. However, the sequel regarding weapons will be upgraded in a similar style to Suikoden. Upgrading the current weapons the hero holds. As for the Director's Cut version of the first game. We'll see.

The original plan was to release a demo with just the first zone and boss, but I decided to extend the demo into 2 zones instead of one (including the new overworld design).

Massive changes are being made to the sequel. Just like its predecessor, the game will be in 2.5D. Greenhill Zone is being redone.

Hi folks. Just a heads up, the game IS pretty much 90% finished. All I am doing is playtesting it FULLY on deployment mode to fix any bugs, grammar/spelling, and broken mechanics I come across.

UPDATE ON DEMO 28/02/24:

. Sprites has been changed a tad.

. SV heroes (Khoul and Cynthia) their fighting sprites has been changed a tad.

. Music for roaming and combat on Khoul's Home Island has been changed by custom tracks.

. Graphical changes on a couple of Khoul's hidden specials. The Action Sequencing looks more "flashier".

These new changes will be released in demo version 5.2

NEW BUG IN DEMO: 

The compass doesn't match the players location on some maps. Currently being fixed.

BUG REPORTS CONFIRMED SO FAR:

Khoul's combo skills may carry on over to the next enemy IF not completed in current combat. THIS is an issue with the plugin used made by Visustella.

There MAY be some moments where the player COULD get stuck and forced to reload the game. This is an issue with the engine / plugins collision system.

Combat has once or twice, froze for no reason. A hard reset is needed if this happens. But out of 5 playthrough testing, it has happened only once.


More bug reports to come if found.

UPDATE 24/02/2024: So, as I am over 85% finished with the story itself and say over 60% overall, because there will be A LOT to discover and do. I am currently updating the demo to 5.0.

NEW FEATURES ADDED TO DEMO:

. A NEW dungeon to explore and complete.

. 2 new HIDDEN skills for Khoul's Combo skill to discover.

.A NEW Village has been added with a SIDE QUEST optional.

. The INTRODUCTION has been added to the demo.


The new version demo now downloadable.

Hello everyone. The game's progressing very well indeed, considering all of it is made by me. So far I would say the game is 45% complete.

Whats been done so far: 

4  Dungeons / Field combat areas, 3 optional mini dungeons / Combat areas, 2 Villages, 1 more playabale hero (with own combat mechanics) after Khoul and Cynthia and finally, introduction 89% complete.

More update to come soon...

Hi mat,e unfortunately, it doesn't show in my project, just black screens, I'm actually using MGCs animation megapack and it works perfectly fine. And even your samplepack does NOT work due to the js file needed as mentioned above

Hi, I bought this pack, but you didn't mention we needed MGC effects.js file to use these. Please make people know before purchasing, as this is an inconvenience. Thank you

EDIT: Thanks for the help mate, I got it working with your awesome and patient guidance. A well worth set of animations as I've been seeing the possibilities giving myself ideas on how they are created in Effekseer.

The game is complete for download. You can play with an XBOX controller, Keyboard...and MAYBE with a PS controller...haven't tried that yet.

UPDATE: My Sonic game has some graphical improvements, not amazingly different. And the game is now 90% complete. So expect a release in June-July. \o/

I realized the combat is still lacking in any form of "strategy". So, I have added states, ie: Bleeding, Burning, Short Circuit (Paralyze for mechanical enemies) more to come...

FIXES IN GENERAL: 3D ROOF

Roof tiles on houses now have a more "realistic" look.
