While it is simplistic, the graphics are very clear and run smoothly. The fact that it looks very block and lego-like adds to the charm and feel of the game. The sound really helps the experience of the game. It immerses you in the world and environment the game portrays, and it helps sell some of the damage and attacks. The HUD is very easy to understand, and most of the pop up menus are fairly simple. I think the map graphic could work better. It is sometimes confusing as to where I need to go or where certain areas are as it is not clearly stated on the map. I think using a WASD as the main controls would have been easier to play. Using the mouse works but the WASD controls would work smoother in my opinion. You could also use arrow keys instead.

I think giving the option to have different responses to characters is interesting and cool, but could have been used in a more effective way. No matter what response you choose, it doesn’t seem to impact the gameplay or the other characters response in any significant way. I think it would be cool if each response you chose had a different impact on the story. Nothing major, but if it influenced other characters and how they acted, it would make the gameplay more fun, and if the story changed depending on your response, it would give the game some extra replay-ability. I also think that the game would be a bit more fun if there were checkpoints that you could respawn at. Whenever I make it far in the game then eventually die, I get discouraged from playing again because I know it will take me a while to get back to where I was. So I think having some checkpoints along the way would help make it more fun for the player.
