I had to look up RPGbot.
I wrote this as a pastiche trying to invoke circa 2007-2012 message board nostalgia. I had no idea guides like these were still around, and following the same basic format!
I love the importance of the land in the setting, and how it manages to feel both cozy and eerie. Freedom to explore, but also getting squeezed by the difficulties. There is a real sense of dread and malice, but I can also envision a scene about finding shelter where the largest threat is getting rained on. The random tables, awesome map, gifting to the land, and time pressure mechanic do a great job selling it.
I adore the map, locations, and objectives. Love the surreal feel of something as mundane as roads and petrol stations, but with all familiar dimensions kind of folded sideways. A surprising setting, that seems to be an excellent fit for Havoc.
The simple system whereby characters occasionally enter the Bliss and Road Rage states is also neat!
