this trailer is absolutely AMAZING by the way.

Thank you so much!  Please tell me if you do any future projects, i love your work!   God bless!

Thanks so much!

i don't mind at all!.  once your done could you comment the video on this?  i would love to see it.

very cool!  i liked shaking the map with all the money i made!

cool game!  you should add w a s d movement.  overall a solid game!

would you like to try mine?

also I find it very impressive that you were able to rate all the games in this short time span.  I had a lot of things I needed to get done this week so sadly I wasn't able to rate ALL the games but I rated a decent amount.  I hope you do good at the jam!!!

thanks for playing my game!  I had the same problem with itch not letting me comment on anymore games.  I just waited two days and then it worked again.  It may be less time but I didn't try again until two days.  My game (is it trash or is it treasure) has some ga.e breaking ui issues if you re-sacale the website page.  If you turn the zoom to %100 it should work wonderfully!  Thanks for your feed back!

Thanks for your feed back!  "Lil walking guy" is having a pole one what should be his official name in the community page.  Make sure to comment.your idea on that!

cool idea!  i liked the music!

amazing concept!  i liked buying coins and the defeated enemy animation!  and also...  when it said verifying purchase...  i wasn't actually charged right?  jk i know i wasn't.  fun game!

oh ok.   i thought you were the owner.  if you ever find out how to beat the game make sure to tell me please!   bye!

Amazing typing game!   i loved BURNING THE GREEN BLOBS!!!!   overall a truly AWSOME GAME!

would you like to try my game.

also I'm not sure i put exactly that but something like that.  did i unlock some hidden part of the game?

what do you mean?  was that the answer?  i was getting annoyed at it for not doing anything so i told it to do what it thought best.  then i got trapped in the room.  loved the art style!

would you like try my game?

You are very welcome!  You could use some kind of invisible sphere that only boxes can go in!

ok so for this game jam I made one costumer that comes in and out trying to get you to buy stuff.  (If you haven't played it here's the link: https://jabiog.itch.io/is-it-trash-or-is-it-treasure)  basically I've never given this guy a name and I wanted your opinion (the people who played) to make the name.

Comment any ideas you have for the name!  Thank you for your time!

Thanks!   So basicly i thought this whole time since you first reply and thought we were talking about rendering because I was in a different conversation about rendering.  That's why I put the .png loading code.  I'm sorry if I may have complicated it a little but I'm glad we got to have a conversation.  Bye! :)

You are very welcome!  I hope you do good in the jam.

Thanks!  I did some research and pygame is actually less  complicated for some reason.  The code (from google) to do this, is:

original_sprite = pygame.image.load("character.png")

I hope this helped and that you can expand your skill level.  (The code ended up being smt else)

Not having fullscreen was intentional because i didn't know how to scale it without making the screen weird so i just...  didn't scale the screen.

I'm glad you liked the game and I appreciate your feedback!

Thanks!  Im glad you liked the game! (Or if you didn't im glad for you feed back as well)  the ui issues is due to a control node error and idk how to fix it.  I might work on it later but i have another game jam starting tomorrow so i might not get to it.

(1 edit)

Yeah it's mainly that my godot view port and the itch.io view port used different scale units or smt because when i put in the same scale size it looked...  off...  so i just rescaled it and guessed.  Probably wasn't the best idea  :)

Yeah i have been experiencing some ui issues.  Control nodes are not my forte. (Forte: term to express a strong understanding.   Latin for: loud)  Thanks for your feed back and i loved playing your game!

Hi!  I don't know what engine you use but this should be applied to general uses:

When your exporting your game, try to find a tutorial (via YouTube, Google, or even reddit) on how to make your game "embedded".  In Godot when exporting (for windows) you want to make sure you check off the "embedded PCK" option.  This allows it to be a .exe without having to dig through files.

I hope this information helped.  Bye!

Thanks for the feed back!  I have had multiple issues with the ui, i guess if your screen website is scaled it makes it so you can't see ui or can see hidden ui that i want to add to later updates but didn't have the time.  the music was more of a last minute panic, I had finished the main game and was making 3d models to add because I made this cool system that automatically adds the model to the list (what I spent most of my time on) and I was about to release it when I realized the music was missing.  I took a song I made and added it to the game description (through comments(the first comment)).  Overall there were things I would have liked to do better but I was proud of what I did in the time span.  I had a lot of plans over the weekends so I had to squeeze in any work I could and ended up with about 9-10.5 hours of programming, art, and concept development.

Cool game!  I'm not dure how it works in unity but in Godot I'd recommend turning the sprites inherit to "nearest"  because the blurry trees kind of took some the the pixel art vibe.  overall a good game!

yeah sorry about that i had added luck and inventory at the beginning of the game and decided to remove it.  i didn't realize scaling the screen would make the extra ui visible.  thanks for the feedback!

very satisfying to control.  i loved to shoot the bad guys!

cool game!  I loved the realistic physics!

I loved to challenge my friends to beat my record (I won).  i loved the music, real chill.  the player model was a little lower quality than the obstacles but overall this was an amazing game!

would you like to play my game?

very fun to play!  i don't think it fits the theme exactly but it was still amazing to play.  i hope you do good in the game jam!

would you like to try my game?

Amazing game!  i found a cool glitch where if you get to negative vision you get more vision for some reason.  it's probably because the sprite is in reverse.  anyway after you take away all your vision just keep losing it and you will get more.  Overall a good game!

want to try my game?

sorry, the multiplier was intentionally moved out of the screen.

Thanks!  i just beat the game now that i know you can move the screen.  inverted controls were hard but this game was SO FUN!!!

cool concept!  i love the art style and that you can pick up and throw the costumers!
