Unfortunately, Steam rejected the game for unspecified reasons, and I don't know much about GOG, but I've heard some mixed opinions about uploading there. I'll look into it further, though.

I'm genuinely sorry. I realise it doesn't seem fair, but Itch isn't really a welcoming platform for adult content anymore. The last time I checked, I literally can't sell my game here because of their rules, not because it's my choice. The only reason I still have my game on here at all is because it's a free 'demo', and at least for the moment, that's deemed acceptable by the payment-processing overlords. The update post is available as a 'one-time purchase' with the price matching the current subscription price, so you can avoid all the tedium of subbing and unsubbing. I know it's not quite the same, but I'm doing the best I can with the limited platforms I have available to me.
Also, the lower tiers were originally created to receive the updates as well, but it was a naive and completely unsustainable decision that my inexperienced baby-dev brain didn't think through when I first started this journey. When I upped the unlock tier, I didn't want to delete the lower tiers entirely, so now they're just 'supporter' tiers that receive benefits like polls and holiday renders.
Sorry, Homie! I may have given the game out for super cheap/free once upon a time, but as a dirt-poor developer, it's absolutely impossible to continue like that if I want to keep the game in development, let alone keep a roof over my head. And let me tell you, I'm already cutting it really close. Not trying to be rude, it's just that giving away 8 months of hard work for free is not sustainable for me. Mentally, or financially. I can only skip so many meals, you know what I mean...
Unfortunately, due to recent pressure from payment processors attacking Itch.io, I'm only able to offer the demo on this site. If you want to find the most recent updates, they're available in one of these links:

I'm honestly very sorry, but Itch just isn't a safe platform for adult devs right now. Unfortunately, their new upload policies are far too stringent for any game that isn't vanilla. It just doesn't make sense for me to continue posting on this platform if I'm already shadow-banned, and even worse, if I could be fully banned at any moment. They've already frozen fund transfers for adult creators as far as I can tell, and I'm not too keen on them seizing even more of my earnings when/if I get kicked off the platform.
Unfortunately, there aren't many avenues for developers like me. These activist groups have been bullying adult sites into complying with their agendas for so long that there just aren't any sites left...
Itch was the only site other than my subscriber pages where I've ever been able to upload my game.
Unfortunately, no notifications were sent to anyone. Some devs had their games completely removed, but it seems others, like mine, are just being held in purgatory for the time being. Let's pray that this silly moral crusade by that extremist group stops trying to impose their beliefs on entire industries.
Hey there. I'm so sorry you're having issues. Unfortunately, Itch has a 4GB file size limit so I had no choice but to chop up the update and make it into a patch, and what's worse is that I have no way of testing the MAC files.
Thanks for bringing this to my attention and I'll try to find a way to fix the problem as soon as I can.
I'm sorry, could you explain a little more so I can help you figure out why it isn't working?
Did you have Ch4P1 already installed? or Was there a particular error that occurred?
Any more information might help me solve the problem for you.
This update is a little different from previous ones as it's just a patch. I go into more detail here as well as provide simple install instructions for the update.

I'm really sorry, I'm not exactly sure what you mean by everything being free before, because I've always charged for the new updates. Regardless, I had to change the game's pricing around because I made a huge mistake years ago when I originally set everything up. I was charging people full price for updates, regardless of their previous purchases. I didn't realize I had made such a big mistake until some people here pointed it out.
Previous chapters are still free to download (as "demos") but now, if someone has bought the game once, they should get all current and future updates for free. It should make things better for everyone in the long run, but again, I'm sorry if this made things difficult for you, and I promise this wasn't done for any other reason but to fix my mistake!
The update was cut in half because it was too big and was taking me too long to release. Chances are that the second half won't be as long as the first, and if that's the case, then I probably won't be charging as much for that update. I usually detail these kinds of things in my weekly reports to keep people updated along the way, though the reports are on hold for holidays/launch week at the moment.
Also, technically, I think my answer is closer to "All I can do is work within this website's shop system. I can't control how they allow developers to charge for our games, and I'm far too poor to put updates out for free." From what I've seen, it's pretty common on this website for AVN devs to charge for new updates, especially updates that they've worked really hard on. However, if you choose to move on then I understand, and I appreciate the support you've given so far. Again, if Itch had a way for supporters to pay a smaller price to upgrade their game to a new update, I assure you, I would do it! It wouldn't even be up for debate!
(No hate intended with the words above!)
Tbh, I'm not exactly sure. I can't seem to finish a playthrough without finding things to edit and improve so I always end up getting distracted. Hopefully, some of the players will reply to this so you can get a better idea. I've honestly been wondering the same thing. If I had to guess, maybe 3-4 hours if you aren't skipping through dialogue, but I could be selling it short.
