Not gonna lie. As someone who's just been browsing and trying out new H-Games, I truly didn't understand what was going on with this game when it suddenly stopped updating new versions.

I was under the impression the developer packed up their files and became Patreon-exclusive, like some other devs did, which then leaves freebies in the ditch because, apparently, their free participation no longer mattered (just my personal stance about it; devs can do whatever since they are the owner of their game).

Now that I'm reading these blogs, it's become clear that I was not paying enough attention to this dev's continued dedication to improve their game from the ground up. That shows commitment and love for what they have crafted, and wanting it to be the very best version of itself.

I'm rooting for ya, dev! Your continued efforts will not go unnoticed!

Like I mentioned in my post, in the dev log, the developer saw the game needed a remake from the ground-up. They couldn't handle fixing the old game code, and decided it's best to update it from scratch. New codework, new performance, new everything, but the story is still there, just directed differently.

TLTR: Developer owns the damn game, not us freebies. Let the dev cook.

Many are getting too comfortable with the game, as if it can just breathe and update on its own, rather than trusting the developer who literally explained why they had to do what they did.

Personally, it is a shame that the charm and appearance of the original is gone, that much I agree. However, an update to appearances is also a nice chance for the developer to keep improving their skills.

On the other hand, I never delve far into the storyline, because it always felt off to me, or the UI visuals weren't there the whole way. Others may argue me on this, but that's just my take.

So, I don't mind redoing the storyline, because you want to make it worth it (I mean, christ ya'll, I know you play the other h-games on itchio, and you know some had to force us to replay from the start. So stop picking on this developer for their "crime".).

Now, with that said, having interactable bubbles is odd, but I'm sure that's just a placeholder type of deal (I mean, again, this isn't a full-fledged game. Things are bound to look awkward). But, at least that keeps us focused on key areas, rather than moving our mouses everywhere as if there's a secret under every pixel.

I saved early in the prologue, and when I came back the background image is on a blackout spasm spree. Seems like the rendering is allergic to being loaded in from a save file. I'm no game wiz, but hopefully that gets patched up soon.

Other than that, I hope this means we'll get better animations and more from the dev in avoiding spaghetti code (Yes, I read the 0.2.1 log. Yes, it's "long" but good god ya'll, stop using the internet and go steal a baby's tablet if you don't wanna read text.).

Keep pushing forward, developer! Listen to proper feedback, not complaints. Haters always try to look like they're "helping" but don't offer actual feedback, and love to whine.

Stepped away from the game since I thought it's a matter of waiting for an updated public version, so apologies for not responding to RedFlash (dev) for about a month.

Also, I believe making a new comment would be better to aid those of us who are blind as hell 馃槄

Ok, for those who made a new game, after acquiring Aeren, Fenris then says to build a Reception Room, with no visual indicator of where to perform this action.

You need to find the Construction Room, which is on the right side of the castle, opposite end from Kostyx's shop.

Hope this helps everyone who wants to enjoy this game.

Guess that means no one can enjoy the game like I did prior to this version :<

After talking to Kostyx about his recommended student/pupil, the progression to build the reception ends there. The interaction marker doesn't pop up. I'm assuming the table in the corner of the mission room is meant to be the construction table? That isn't highlighting.

I have reloaded from the autosave, and still nothing. I am on the public demo version, not the paid/subscribed version.

What construction room? I'm also stuck here. The far left is the portal room, next to that is the mission room, and then the reception room that has no interaction available. I don't see any table or room specifically for construction purposes.

I'm on Android as well bud. You don't need to relocate your saves.

Download the new apk version. Tap on it, and it'll update your old version with the downloaded version.

Say Done or Play, and viola. You're updated.

Not really. The whole death scene is the only thing that was redone. You can make a new save and watch it until you encounter the goddess.

There's slightly altered dialogue when talking to her, but it's mainly to reference the intro. Everything else afterwards is completely the same thing.

I'm so happy to be replaying this again. The beginning is so awesome to watch again.

Edit: HOW AM I BLIND TO THE UPDATE AHHHHHH

AND WHOA, I DEFINITELY LOVE THE NEW INTRO

Personally, I'd say give your subscribers more credit than us freebies. You should definitely take care of yourself so that you can work on this with more gusto. Also, don't compare your pacing with others. You have a life and responsibilities, you're not some robot that must work with no breaks!

I see you Devs... How dare you scare me with the spooks after I accidentally found one...

Saw the comments, looked at the links, aaaand apparently this project is discontinued...? Haven't checked the Discord, which I'm assuming is no longer active.

Not sure how many have caught an error (unless it's been noticed in the Discord that I'm not part of), but there was an exception error when Pixie wanted to talk during an important scene (I won't spoil much here). I did capture the error log if any of the CK dev members wish to see it.
