I was happy to help! I had trouble with several, especially Ocarina of Time, so I know it can be frustrating. Glad to hear you found them!

It's exactly like the hint says. It really is a hotdog on the nightstand. It shows up before sex, so easier to pick out without the distractions. The "Bruce Lee" one is a little trickier. Darce has something about Bruce Lee in her room. She talks about it too, but I think in a different scene. In the scene where you are looking for the hidden render, focus on Bruce Lee, try to find something out of place. This one is actually one of the more clever ones. Again, not during sexual activity.

If you have an earlier version of the game before Ep. 5, don't delete it when downloading the latest version. Some of the sex scenes are different in the current version. More tame, and I think more suitable to the story, but the earlier version is still nice to visit.

[SPOILERS WARNING]

I have been a fan since before Ep. 5. Really great revision for Ep. 1-4. The toning down of sex early in the game really puts my mind at ease about the future of the story. Ep. 5 and 6, though, lack the kind of tight, energetic main narrative that 1-4 had.

Compare Scarlett's scene in 5, first the photos giving away their relationship which the MC doesn't even know yet and then the come-on, with Luna's scene in 3 where so little yet so much is convey by just Luna's facial expressions and "I left the oven on at home." I am not dissing Ep. 5. It has one of the funniest and sexiest and longest scene in the game so far. Just the main story didn't get much attention.

Cutting to 6 and I feel like I am told a lot and nothing at the same time. Riley gives a deep dive on her history but I somehow feel like it's all either known or expected or not that important, maybe because some of her story was already given away earlier outside of MC's presence. You spend a good while talking to Lizzie, one of the coolest girls since Ep. 1 but again, despite some obvious hints, the MC doesn't ask the most important questions. And again, I am not dissing Ep. 6. It has likely the best date scene I have seen in any game. I am just hungry for some tight main narrative that I am not getting.

The sex scenes may also be getting too long. Skylar's date, for example. It's completely realistic to go at it again in her bedroom, but is it really necessary to have two full blown sex scenes back to back? Ripples is special because it isn't really a porn. I don't know if this is a compliment for everyone, but this game isn't great masturbation material. It's more of a character-driven visual novel with explicit sex, kind of like Game of Thrones in terms of where sex fits into the game. Once you have too much sex, it becomes emotionally draining. The whole time with Alyssa in Ep. 5, I was being nice to a nice girl (I don't want to be a jackass) and crossing my fingers while mutter, "Please don't have sex. Please don't have sex."

There are some really high quality material in Ep. 5 and 6, but I feel like they've decoupled a bit from the overarching story and the game risks becoming disjointed, like a theme park without a theme.

[SPOILER WARNING]

She stirs up complicated feelings in me. Before Ep. 4 and especially before the partial rewrite of 1-4 with the release of 5, she was one of my favorite. Then I met Luna and I liked Luna more. I am prejudiced in favor of the '99 generation except Krystal and Daphane. Then Skylar comes back in 6 with kick-ass tats, a darker and more mature attitude from a mysterious and likely harsh experience, and goes on probably the best dating scene I have seen in a porn game. I still have complicated feelings toward her, but I wouldn't have her any other way. I do feel like she is emotionally displacing too many other girls from their roles: Krystal as "my girl," Daphane as the best friend with benefit I have seen in a game, Darci as the blossoming best friend. Skylar is pushing to be the "one," and I don't know if I want that.

You should volunteer to translate it to Chinese.

Two hints: 1. It is in your second visit to Cindy's office after finding the restricted area in the power plant basement. 2. It's not a dick-shaped item (like I first thought, based on the word "Frank"). There is actually another Frank related to Donnie.

Divergent paths might cause the quality of the main narrative to suffer due to dilution of resources. As the creator's first, mainly one-person project, focusing on one cohesive story might be best.

What does the hint text say? I got the render so can't see the hint anymore, and I don't remember off the top of my head.

Ha. Make everyone happy. Good luck. :) I hope you get the support you need to keep making this game the way you want.

I could see 0.15a on day 1. Wasn't a problem for me.

What is the 3rd included DLC? I thought it might have been the soundtrack listed on Steam, but I couldn't find it in the zip file. It might not be, and there is already plenty of content here including the other two DLCs. I thought I ask before anyone else jumps to the wrong conclusion.

I hope the Rework DLC comes to itch.io.

I played Conussia for a bit first, going the full good guy route without sabotaging anyone, and it seemed to go nowhere. So I went to play Bondmaids and was thrown off by why I start off working for the Lich. It made it harder for me to accept the redemption route (so wishy washy). Then I read a bunch of Steam threads on how to move forward in Conussia and realized at where I was, working for the Lich was the only way to move the story meaningfully forward. It actually made sense in context of breaking the stalemate in the game.

This game feels terribly unpolished right now, and the gameplay loop with the gems is just bad. But the core idea behind the story and what the player is forced to do is quite unique and very much worth checking out. I look forward to the DLC giving this game the quality it deserves.

It doesn't show on the main page, but if you click on Download Now, you can see that there are only the $2 tier on sale for $1 and the $20 tier on sale for $10. I talk about tiers only in their original price since FEYADA might decide to have sales at different % off. The sale price should not enter into and confuse the issue of whether you got what you paid for. Whether you buy the $20 tier at $20 or $5 on sale, you bought the same thing. Conversely, if you bought the $10 tier, if one exists or existed, at $10 (or $5 or whatever), it wouldn't entitle you to the benefit of the $20 tier.

(1 edit)

If you feel you were misled into buying something, just contact support for a refund. The drama with the $10 tier, $20 tier, immediate access to latest release, 2 weeks delayed access is not doing the game and the other buyers any favors. I do think this delayed access tier should either be explained in the game description and not comments, or done away with entirely going forward.

I don't know what the situation is. Whether there were always a $20 tier with immediate access and a $10 tier with delayed access, or if the $10 tier had immediate access before but now got bumped down a peg.

I do know that many popular games have itch.io releases 1, 2, 3+ versions behind their Patreon or Steam versions, even if you originally paid the same or more on itch.io than their current price elsewhere. Some have stopped updating the itch.io version entirely and just made it into a free demo.

I don't know what will happen here, but at least right now it seems FEYADA is trying to give itch.io a fair chance when they might be moving into a new pricing model. There is also the upcoming Steam release to consider.

You are arguing the wrong point. In the current purchase tiers, there is no "$10 version," right? There is a $20 tier that you can buy for $10 on sale. You can download the latest version immediately upon release. I bought it about 9 hours ago and had no issue downloading 0.15a. There is a $2 tier that you can buy for $1 on sale, and it will be one version behind the latest release.

Now, I don't know if there was only a $10 tier and no $20 tier before. If there was only a $10 tier and no $20 tier, and folks bought the $10 tier (whether it was on sale should be irrelevant to the purchase tiers) thinking they were buying into the top tier but actually buying into a hidden second tier with delayed access to the latest version, then I think you have a legitimate complaint.

In FEYADA's post, it only said that "If you spent [emphasis mine] $5 - you will receive a new version in 1-2 weeks after release." This statement should be construed only as a promise that if you bought into the hidden $10 tier on sale for $5, you will receive the new version 1-2 weeks after release. If you buy into this tier after FEYADA explained it and do not get 0.15a in 2 weeks time, then you have another legitimate complaint.

I was tempted to spent $5 (sale price) under the current tiers just to see if I get 0.15a in 2 weeks. Because of what I saw of the free 0.8 version and certain posts I saw by FEYADA in the comments, I opted to just give a bit more support and not deal with the hidden tier with delayed access, which is really more suitable for Patreon than Itch.

I often hear about games that inspire other games, but I don't immediately recall an outright homage, except in two of my favorite games on itch.io that pay tribute to OIAL. (I am reminded of Ben Affleck bullshitting Alec Baldwin in Pearl Harbor. Except he wasn't.) Thank you, Caribdis, for creating such an inspiration for others. This game is an icon.

Hot damn. This game is all over the place and I love it. I almost stopped playing within the first 10 minutes because Mia felt so cliche and I didn't like the MC that much. That would have been a tragedy.

There are so many fun/sexy/bad ass/unusual/lovable characters after the game opens up. It feels like Moolah Milk wanted to try every mini game they could think of. The game is better for it even if a few mini games don't work out. I even like the MC now, thanks to some very sharp writing. Oh, and the game has many haha-funny moments, yet retains its thriller/horror theme.

Then there are the little things. How I appreciate the little things. "Penny for your thoughts?" I do hope we will see much more of her.

Did I mention how good the writing is? Some dialogue choices during sex scenes branch off to new scenes that almost feel like different games.

Anyway. I am going to become a Patreon this weekend.

Another thing that struck me about Ripples is how much nuance Jestur put into the game. On my third time watching the exchange between Brad and Lizzie where he was hitting on her (because I find the exchange sweet), I finally noticed that Lizzie looks at MC during a line. Just that line. It is not explained, probably never will be, but it made my heart skip. And when Krystal was doing her little Netflix chant on her first date, such a small thing, but it immediately changed her from just a hoe to be fucked (sorry about my language) to a sweet fun character for me.

Jestur is making characters I'd like to date more than characters I'd like to have sex with. That's what pulls me into the game. That and I am waiting to see if there will be this big plot twist that surpasses every taboo I have seen in a game.

Before you reminded me, I completely neglected that City of Broken Dreamers might on on itch.io. I have been keeping an eye on it on Steam for a while but haven't dived in. Finally a chance to try the game first! Thank you.

Your list is great. Harem Hotel is on my must-play list. Being a DIK is on my must-buy list. And Caribdis' Once in a Lifetime was my top favorite before Ripples; I haven't decided if any character in Ripples surpasses Lauren and Judie for me.

Anyway I am going to download City and check out Patreon again. Thanks again!

Hey, hey. No need to be personally offended by it. Like Caribdis said, everyone has their own opinion and this game just isn't for me. If you feel I was talking badly about the game without just cause, I will be happy to explain privately exactly what I see as wrong with the characterization in the game right now. Otherwise, just ignore me. I didn't do that out of respect for Caribdis and Once in a Lifetime

I don't feel the spark.

When I first saw Ion, that moving shot gave me such Deus Ex vibes that it sent a shiver down my spine. Technically, this game is head and shoulders above Once in a Lifetime. And the game within a game concept is so very promising.

Yet I find myself hard pressed to care about any character in the between-game space (in Eternum 0.2 but outside Eternum VR) except Luna, mainly due to her mysterious power. They just feel so banal.

Mine is clearly a minority opinion, and I don't really know how to make the character interesting like in OIL and this other game I have been playing. I do think shortening the plot before MC goes into Eternum and making the MC less intrusive (I find him annoying) would ultimately make the game better, especially for players who want to try it out first.

If you are like me, downloading off Mega just doesn't work. Try to find a source that hosts on Anonfiles, like I did. No BS. [As always, be careful about malware.]

[Forgot something important: the sex scenes in this game are among the best, likely the best unless I am forgetting something, I have ever seen. And I have played porn/hentai games since the 90s. Nothing too wild, but sensual as fuck (maybe a bad analogy). Funny how I forgot to mention this initially.]

Damn. What a game. At first I thought Krystal looked a little too Barbie-like, but I thought, what the hell, maybe fucking Barbie could be one of those one-off fetishes. But the characters and the story got their hooks in me fast, and Krystal is one of my favorite characters now, in any game. The heavyweights of character development are Darci and Jenny though. Hell, I like all the girls and older women, even Cindy. So much heart. Just to seal the deal, the MC is unobtrusive and there are many haha-funny moments.

And the game feels so polished. The animation. The facial expressions. The music. The sound effect. The moaning. The transitions. I can believe one person made this, but that person poured a lot of their life into this.

Anyway. I supported with $10 for now. I wanted to support with $20 but I am waiting to see if Jestur is able to continue working on this game. If so, I am thinking of going on Patreon, even though I have always considered myself too blue-collar to be a patron of the arts. If not, I'll come back with that other $10.

This game made me think maybe Stein's Gate is a good anime. I didn't even like Stein's Gate! I found it a little pretentious. As crazy as the premises of this game are, it feels down to earth.

For everyone who wants to download the game but can't. You'll have better lucky going to an "alternative" game downloading site. Just be very careful and not get malware. I was able to find a good copy, so they exist. Unfortunately, for obvious reasons I cannot share where I went.

I was one minute away from coming back to pay $20 for the game. Halfway through the game I wanted to pay $10. By the public bath segment in Japan, I wanted to pay $20. I thought I finish the game first. There I was, in the plane, having defeated the big bad in almost exactly the way I envisioned, and suddenly I was forced to choose one girl. I can appreciate that the harem ending is like an Easter egg ending, and I wasn't looking for that. But why the hell was it that I could not choose either to stay with the girls in England (even though I was more powerful than the big bad going up against an organization that already had its back broken, by me without powers) or at least leave by myself? Being forced to pick one when I loved at least two girls equally left a bad taste in my mouth.

I need some time to reflect. This is such a great game. Well deserving its high rating. It's almost a shame the adult content prevents all the humor, the pop culture references, the creative segments, and the trivia from being enjoyed by a bigger audience.

[I decided to pay $15 now and save $5 for Eternum. I was reminded of Mass Effect 3's ending. However controversial it was, it did not take away from the brilliance of the trilogy. I was also reminded of that pompous ass Ken Levine and his ridiculous "Would you kindly." One freedom retained by all players of all video games is to reject all choices offered and stop playing. Coming in the middle of a game, you end up not having a game. Coming at the end, though, I feel like I am making my own ending, better than the token ending Caribdis made for the individual girls. In a way, that is Caribdis' final stroke of genius.

Besides, I grew up on that song playing in the men's public bath. I never thought it could fit so well into a video game.

Best of luck on Eternum, Cribdis. Show us Once in a Lifetime isn't a once in a lifetime.]
