first of all, I love card games like this. and this game’s take on the mechanics and incentives are extremely unique. second of all, the lore goes hard, leaving me especially wanting to know more about the backstories for both of these characters. lastly the dialogue attached to basically every individual card you play (outside of movement) does a lot of work to enhance the actual battle, giving the lore a lot more weight and screentime than just what’s in the intro/ending cutscenes.
all in all, it’s left me itching to see more of this concept mechanically, and more of these characters/this setting.
