Loved the voice acting. I feel it's definitely in the spirit of an NES game, even if it wouldn't technically be possible. Very much enjoyed. Jumping kick spamming gave me TMNT2 flashbacks.

Hahaha, yes, technically it's different forms. All of what I'm about to say is headcanon, because none of it made it into the game. But the idea was that you're the janitor at this company, working the night shift (wink), and when ''the Entity'' takes you. You become kind of like a monster janitor, absorbing the cursed essences of the major creatures you defeat.

And yyyeeeaah, I did end up removing one of the quarter level checkpoints, because I thought I had made it too easy. I just got too good at running through that level.

Also, thank you for playing and your feedback. Much appreciated.

And as a quick addendum: The mummy gameplay was heavily inspired by one of my favourite NES games of all time, Bionic Commando, which famously did not have a jump button. And as an addendum to my addendum: The now defunct developer studio Grin made a remake of that game called Bionic Commando Rearmed, which is still AMAZING with an absolutele BANGER of a soundtrack. Still well worth playing. :D

I did remove a checkpoint inbetween the start and the middle of that level on one of the last days with the thought it would've been a little too easy otherwise. But that was probably the case of me getting too good at the level from replaying it over and over. Rookie mistake. My bad. :D

The amount of assets you made for this on top of the solid mechanics; my horsebag is off to you, sir!

You created a wonderful environment that got me wanting a lot more of it! Really well done.

Thank you for your kind words!
