oh my god.

i feel like i've been staring at a snowflake on an iceberg. that for all the elegant fractals, there's unfathomably more story supporting it. i opened the touhou pride game jam for a warm escape, yet the backgrounds prick me with a numbing reality that turns my stomach. i am filled then encased in a crystalline block of music, and together, we're slid— helplessly— through the narrative.

it's going to take a long time for me to untangle this experience. i'm crushed and sobered by its starkness. sincerely, thank you so much for making this and for sharing.

Wonderful experience. I love how well the characters' speech patterns differentiate. I really feel the voices come through. The timed answers are extremely effective at encouraging me to tune in. It makes me respect the environment as "real." Thank you all so much for going above and beyond.

I appreciate it! I've been playing the web version with my friends, but we've had it freeze or crash when buying certain items or during some scene transitions >w< I'll start having a friend stream it from their windows machine.

Been having an issue since previous version 0.4.4.

On MacOS Monterey 12.7.6

1st issue:
Trying to open Game.app throws a pop-up error "This application 'Game.app' can't be opened."
Was able to fix this by unzipping the file with The Unarchiver instead of the built-in Archive Utility.

2nd issue:
Upon starting the game, the application window throws the error:

UnknownError
Error: EROFS: read-only file system, open '/private/var/folders/nq/sdr8b51d2dv_m7lk3q5hz04h0000gp/T/AppTranslocation/9F0E5CA3-CBB2-4DBC-B3E4-584CE6F02838/d/Game.app/Contents/Resources/app.nw/save/config.rpgsave'

Things I've tried:

- using chmod to turn Game.app into an executable

- moving the folder Thread0.5.1Mac to the Desktop instead of Applications

- manually adding blank folder and file /save/config.rpgsave to the app package
