I meant do you have hair and clothing sprite sheets that we can overlay, I've seen some creators refer to it as the "paper doll method" or something like that

Is there a way to add premade hair or outfits to the base sprite?

I'm a little confused on how to make the character have the different skin tones and changing hair color. Is there a way to do it in the editor like with changing the hair type?

I'm so mad that itch did not inform me of this update because I have been waiting for it and I'm so glad it's here! For the tool animations does this include a tool animation sprites or do we try to make them on our own? (Which is fine, my characters just might be swinging rectangles for a lil bit)

Absolutely no rush, but is there a plan to expand the amount of characters that have all the animations? Or are other things more of a priority at the moment? I've got the food and crafting materials sets and I loooove them, but I'm currently using my own sprites.
