Very cute game! I'm impressed with the in-dialogue text animations (and the jokes were funny, no tomatoes here). Combat took a bit to get the hang of, but I could see this being intended, as it did give an appropriate level of difficulty!

Thank you!  Yeah, scanners were intended to give a directional indicator to approaching enemies. Though I agree, even if scanners were working, the camera would be a bit too zoomed in. Asteroids are also far too rare, so while it isn't really playable right now, luckily it should just be tweaking some values to get an actual game. I've actually fixed a few of the smaller bugs already, so I'm thinking I'll eventually update this one.
