Hey Doofusmike, thank you for playing my game! I am glad you enjoyed it! I think you might actually be the first person to beat it. It's really hard 😂! Unfortunately, I did not have enough time to finish the mechanics since I had only two weeks to make it for the horror game jam. Currently, I am working on my second game that is way more polished. I'd really appreciate if you could stay tuned so that when I release it, you could have some fun with that one too! Also, I watched your video and I really liked it! Keep doing what you're doing, man!

Thanks for the feedback and for playing my game! And don't worry buddy I already played your game and left a review! Great game! Cheers!

Hey Monday2799 thank you for playing the game! Yeah the killer is too op. I need to tune it down a little bit. Also I'd love to play your game!

Wow. Really nice game. The story and the visuals are great. Good work.

Thank you very much for playing my game! Yeah, other players said the same thing and you are right, the forest is too empty and the killer is too OP. I am going to keep that in mind for my future games. Thank you very much for the feedback!

Cool game! I really liked the puzzles and also the ambience of the game. Good work!

Fine! Since everybody is asking, I am going to make a sequel called: 'The Long Hike Reversed.' In this one, I will make the killer scared of the player so you have to catch him 😂.

Now that you actually mention it, the forest is kind of empty. The funny thing is that I also had other assets and I could have totally filled it up with more stuff. I gotta be careful next time.

Also... sure man! I'd love to rate your game!

Good atmosphere, good story, good game play. You deserve a five star rating sir. Very well made game!

Great game! I definitely got spooked a couple of times, and I loved the atmosphere. Personally, I think having a flashlight would have improved the experience; it was so dark that I could barely see anything, though that might have just been an issue with my screen settings. Other than that, I really enjoyed it!

Thanks for the feedback! In the next update, I’m definitely giving you hands 😂.

It’s a bummer the menu didn’t work. If it’s not too much trouble, could you send me a screenshot? Also, are you running it on Windows 11? I developed this in Godot on my Mac(arm chip), and I’m worried there might have been some errors during the compilation process. Seeing that screenshot would really help me fix these issues for future projects!

Really cool game! I think that the fact that you play as a kid makes it more immersive. The ambience also was pretty cool.

Pretty cool game dude. I liked what you did with the teleportation to different environments and the ambiance.

Nice game dude! The story is the best part. The fact that the killer had a whole system in place there was a pretty epic twist. Keep doing what you are doing man!

(also camera and item selection mechanics were pretty sick)

Thank you very much for the feedback! Instead of the hints I was considering adding a compass, but that would have made the game too easy in my opinion. Glad you enjoyed it!

Yeah, the AI is too OP in my opinion as well. The problem is that I realized it too late.

I am glad you like the mechanic. I thought that I should make the character do something a real person in that situation would do, and that's how I came up with the idea. Anyway, thank you for playing my game!

Thank you for playing my game! As this was my first release, I’m thrilled you enjoyed it. Reviewing it now, I see that the mechanics are a bit more challenging than intended. I’m taking those lessons into my future projects to make them even better!

Thank you very much for playing my game! I am glad you enjoyed it!

I have only one comment: EPIC
