I've helped a few developers with this issue, this week. They found it was relevant to Catalina Intel

I'm very strongly feeling that it has to do with old Catalina and Intel. I did the terminal etc. I am pretty versed in plugins and installation after decades. It's just not coming up in the daw browser when searched

This is happening to me a lot, the past 2-3 months. I think it may be Intel related.  A couple developers found a fix.

I had a rat shack vst plug on my pc!

Yes Sir! That worked. Wow. All these years and I didn't know the plug ins on the track affected that. Thank you!

I can't get Ableton to route specifically to the Melodrumatic on midi out after choosing the proper audio channel. Feeling a lil dense today. It's probably simple but my logic is failing me. Images enclosed. It's grayed out says TRACK IN
