In a roundabout way, this game is kind of a horror game. The anticipation of waiting for the baby to cry is so stressful, and then when the baby is crying, it's the most startling jumpscare. Almost like a comedy horror game.

I pre-fired the gun, and my cat disappeared lol. I am not sure if this is a bug, but when it came time to actually play, I couldn't fire because my cat was no longer there. I love this though, it's so cute and the music is great.

This is really reminiscent of a lot of Twine games. I love the aspect of you crossing out some choices depending on what the player picks, and the sound effects really add to the narrative.

This is very reminiscent of when I was in 7th grade and we had a creative writing unit in which we used a Mind Map to create a character. I remember having so much fun coming up with all the different characteristics, so this is really cool to see. I love the music and aesthetic you picked. Perhaps next, you could find a way for the user to download their mid-map when done, to be able to save it.

I really enjoy the slow development of the game. I think working up from no vision to being able to see is really unique and also emphasizes the theme and mood of your game. The mirror effect you included is also really cool. I remember you mentioned wanting to learn how to use it earlier this quarter, so it's awesome you got a chance to.

I really enjoy how picking up the axe changes the dialogue when standing in the cabin. I think that's a really fun detail, and I also love how having the axe affected my choices later on, with me ending up dead.

I agree. I think overall the game is fun and balances narrative with the joking narrator. I think some good music could go a long way, and some simple images either of the cordiers or objects you find, could be nice.

I like the premise of this game. It feels very reminiscent of Ex Machina in the way the test is to see if the AI has human sentience and emotions. I would be intrigued to see an ending where we actually escape, and what that means for us and the world.

I really enjoy the aesthetic of the game. I think the color you picked for the page really nicely matches the desire to warm your character in the game. The music is also an added touch that fuels the mystery.

I really like the concept of the game, but oddly, the images that go with it feel kind of jarring. Perhaps I was just expecting a darker tone because of the mystery of the plot; however, it is interesting to think about a mystery film or game that happens only in the daytime.

I think to add to SeaCabel's comment, one way you could expand would be to have the arrows change pages. This way, you could add to this game over time and really expand on your thoughts. I agree that the aesthetic is really lovely. I just wish the shadows in the screenshots appeared in the game.

I like your game and the theme. I do wish the text were typed a little faster, especially when we get to the interrogation scene. Since there is a timer, the text being typed out so slowly really delays the player's ability to think critically and successfully gauge who the liar is.

This is very similar to the game I played earlier about nostalgia. Not necessarily in the exact theming, but in the way you live through life, that may have memories similar to your own. For example, while this game doesn't perfectly replicate a day in my life, it does have choices that I would make or remind me of other days I have had as a college student. Similar to the way Nostalgia made me reminisce on memories of my life in the past.

I think choosing the name Arthur for the protagonist really reminds me of Merlin. Perhaps that was your inspiration, considering Arthur was a knight there, and this game seems to have a sort of fantasy theme going with it. I do enjoy how it's not a simple retelling of Arthur's story, but your own take on a knight who also just happens to be named Arthur.

I like that you have created a horror game for this project. I think it's fun, and with the many different endings you can get, I think it's a great example of a text-based game. One thing I might change is either that background color or the color of the dark blue text. It's kind of difficult to read, and as this is a timed game, those extra seconds I spent caused me to end up in the early ending.

I think making this game now makes sense since it's reminiscing on the past. The player is able to adventure and explore memories that aren't their own, but also perhaps they connect with some of the things they experienced. I know I did when you described rain, I love when it rains nd miss the smell of wet concrete. (One question I have is when you go to help your dog on the bed, it jumps to the answer if you had said stay sleeping, is that a bug or intentional?

I really like the art of this game, I think it fits really well with the theme of the game. I appreciate how you play through the story seemingly not having choices, but looking very closely, you can find small clues throughout the game that help you reach the good ending.

I think the pastel colors really add to the comfy scenery of creating smoothies. I think maybe you could add a background to add to the visuals. I think your smoothies being all different colors and ombres are very nice, perhaps your background could instead be a smoothie shop that has the epastel theme of the smoothies we make.

I like the concept of this game, and I think it plays well. I think one thing you could maybe add is some images reflecting where you are in the house. This could add to the creepy/uneasy vibes that are created by this game.

I played the game once through and also got the good ending, but I was intrigued about what else the game had and played again. This time, I got the bad ending. I like how dark the scene is when you get into the interrogation room; it really adds to the creep factor, especially if you get the bad ending.

I like the pixel art you decided to use, but oddly, my favorite one is the memento page. I really like the white screen matched with the melancholy tone of the poems you generate. Usually, you think of white as a happy color, but here I think it works really well as a blank canvas of what a person might experience next. I think my favorite poem I generated was "child in the middle / viewing human suffering / and it never ends"

I really enjoy the birds chirping in the background. It really adds to the scenery when you leave and walk around. This feels very much like a cozy game—a very chill game where you discover a cat can talk. I like that you just get to experience the story.
