I think my previous comment might have caused some confusion, so I want to clarify: "Don't Open the Door" will absolutely remain my main project for the next 1-2 years. I have so many ideas for it, it's nowhere near finished, and I have no intention of abandoning it!
I only meant that I'd like to make a small side project (a proof of concept) with a male MC. The main reason for this is that a male MC opens up more NSFW options that don't quite fit with the current female MC. My plan would be to alternate updates between the two games.
However, my supporters always have the final say. After the next update, I will run a poll to let you all decide:
If you vote for the new male-MC game: I will work on both, meaning "Don't Open the Door" will still get full updates, just spaced a little further apart.
If you vote to focus only on the current game: I will scrap the side project entirely and dedicate all my time to "Don't Open the Door."
Just to be crystal clear: "Don't Open the Door" is my priority. I just wanted to pitch this side project idea to see what you all think

Well I cant give an answer as of now. For that idear I would need an real nsfw artist who can draw specific sceens or characters. As of now I am only using AI Images that are open for public anyways from EnthickeningAI. But I am already looking for idears for my new big project/game . And if I find someone maybe some of these idears will happen. // I really have no idear how the next game will look like or what it is about. But it would be perfect with a male-mc . And we can push the game more into sex,feeding, milking etc . I will probablly do a poll on patreon after the early access of the Update is uploaded -> so in a few days. But if you have any suggesten feel free to send me a message. It could be (like this one) a nsfw game clone of an already existing game, or more like an adventure game again like (Isle of Hunger). But as we want a male-mc, feeding woman, it will prob. be a gameplay loop with days in a city for example. Anyways to get back to your question these mechanics will prob. be in the next game and not in this one (in the near future). The only option I see would be after the Update in a few weeks and after I finish the new project I turn back to this one and maybe with an artist I give it a major Update with this type of contant
Damnnn thanks a lot. Really... It helps keeping the project alive and it also pushes me to keep working and coding on the game. Espacially with so much going on in my life rn like my Diploma the next three months. People like you are really the best a Dev could ask for. Ofc if I am honest its also a big pressure, with lots of positive feedback but also negative that can get harder to oneself that I first belived. I really try to get some time working on the project every day. It will still probably stay a side-income and poject of mine, as there is a bright future with IT-Diploma. But hey who knows what the future may hold. Maybe it really rises to a level where I can say, wow with this monthly support or so I can do this full time . Or some rich dude starts founding the game haha. Anyways you are the best :)
well simply because I dont own a mac and cant test if everything works in the code etc. i dont think that is happening, maybe someday, but not my num 1 priority right now
Thanks for pointing that out. I think the code part is already fixed, but I didnt uploade a bugfix as a new Update will be finished somewhat next week anyways and for Itch uploaded in 2-3 weeks.
Yes if you buy it once, you will get the Updates for free. And yes the demo is a proof of concept thats the whole point. But I am sure that if you want every ending as of now the paid version is about 2h of play time
Yes that is true, but sadly I didn't make the art for this game. I just took some pictures from Devinart (with permission) and worked it into the game. But yes in the future that is the plan. If I can find images that look alike. For the weightgain stages
But it doesn't matter if you got it through thr itch luncher. Because I uploded the file as a zip on Itch . So if you download it you have to unzip it at least 1 time. right klick on the folder and unzip.
Did you unzip the folder? and click the right application. Sometimes it has also problems when a other renpy game is currently running. If not the above I really dont know cause we tested it and other paid users with Win 10/11 didn´t have any problem. or try to restart your pc
Well its whatever but it takes away a lot of motivation for the next game or to update the previous ones. It sucks a lot for some fellow Creators that do it full job,with me its more llike a hobby , but most of them have a solid income base frompatreon . Sadly for me itch was the main way to get new followers there and with over 1000 page views it was growing good since a little bit more than half a month. But now its looking rough and its still takes a lot of love and time for a game. Money is ok but I dont need it that much that I give my time up for maybe 150$/m (because if nothing changes main income from Itch is lost, and only the 150 per month from patreon remain), I rather spend my time diffrent. But I will definitiv finishe the next game and we will see how the situation is
Thats prob. because Itch is mass shadow-banning NSFW Content. Since 4-5 days. I got 500 views and 5-6 downloads every day. But now its 10-15 views from one day to the next. Its also removed from many tags. Its sad but I am not the only Creator strugeling with this problem. Soon we prob. have to leave Itch.
Ok good to hear that you found the problem. If they don't reach out and fix it like in 1-2 days write me and I will send it to you. But I will say that this will be an exception to anyone else. Well I think this is a problem/bug with itch.io as I can see that others who paid didn't have the Problem. Please send me a privat Message with your email so I can check it with the purchases and send you the game :) (There could also be the possibility that your payment didn't go through or declined as I just checked all payments and didn´t find anything with your Name, but if there still is a problem feel free to reach out)
Yeah it is true that there is currently no "good ending" or "best ending" where you can escape or sth. This will be diffrent with my next game because this was only a demo. But i can understand the frustration.
Here some quick Update. Yes there is going to be a Version for Mac and due to it being a Renpy game its not hard to do. But I currently got taken down on patreon and so on because of age restrictions. Well you can kinda quess what that means like I said I am still in school. I have to wait till February to turn into "legal age" so that I can publish my new game and any Updates. But i am still working on it. Well it is kinda stupid but there is nothing I can do. So sadly you all have to wait 4 more Months before there will be anything new. Hope you all remember me till then :)
Hmm yes I just saw what you mean, will fix this when it comes for mobile. But for me its still long but can still read it, maybe because of different Monitors.
