Thanks for releasing this version, it looks fantastic, although it's doesn't 100% replicate the game experience and physics.
For example, the circular attack shouldn't be always counterclockwise... in the original game, if you loaded the attack while looking right or left, the attack circled clockwise, and in the Oracle sequels it was always clockwise.
Unlike the original L.A. game, this port doesn't let you jump while charging a sword attack, nor you can pick items with the tip of the charging sword. Also, objects lost their blinking animation when they're going to vanish, and the collision with obstacles like walls feel slightly off.
Nothing too big, the game still feels great, but I would love to see this small issues fixed in future updates.
Yes, your ROM is correct one, the problem is your emulator.
All classic GB games are in black and white (plus 2 tones of grey), but with a GB Color, Super GB or an emulator you could use palettes to replace the B/W tones for other 4 colors. The green palette is pretty popular nowadays because it reminds of the original GB screen.
That feature is in your emulator preferences (it depends of which are you using). You'll have to pick each colors yourself in some of them.
BGB uses the green palette by default
