i like the premise, but not the way i have to interact with the game a few times a minute but not more or less frequently, and the repetitiveness got boring (probably because each cycle takes a while). i think it would be more fun for me if game time passed instantly without having to wait, but i also was looking for idle games where i could check in way less often, so i guess i'm not the audience for this either way right now

oh, also, scrolling with a touchpad was way too sensitive for some reason, it made the actions list pretty hard to navigate on a laptop because very little movement would scroll all the way to the bottom/top, this is different from how everything else on my computer reacts to the touchpad. not sure what's the reason for that. it'd be nice to have an alternative way to scroll, like arrow keys

very fun! i've won after over an hour total

possibly a bug: i wanted to try playing without the "pierce" passive but when i reset the upgrades, bought every passive but that one and switched to weapon upgrades and upgraded those, the pierce passive also suddenly turned out to be bought and this happened two or three times the same way... though after that i reset and started with buying upgrades and pierce didn't appear against my will. buying a lot of upgrades at once is annoying so i'm not trying this more to figure out if it's actually reproducible...

the most satisfying incremental game i've ever played! the integer overflows are annoying though :[

i won the game, that was super not worth it but at least i know how it ends now :D

got it finally, looks like they're a very endgame thing...

i ended up going back and spending exactly five hours on one hole apparently and looks like i'm seeing the end and i'm still over 100b away from that next staff....

i'm not managing to progress after organized religion... 250k+ research points, i can get to foxes in like a few minutes and then it takes a bit more to get bears and religion (...i actually thought there wasn't anything after foxes before trying the game again after this update) but then there's no more upgrades and it looks like it'd take hours to get to the next staff and upgrading permits barely makes a difference :/ (for context i'm on the gardener's backyard with the philantropist bonus, that felt like the fastest combination for digging? i might be wrong though)

it's also kinda annoying that most upgrades are useless, there's no point in resetting the cost or doubling the efficiency of rabbits or whatever when they'd be getting <1% of the stuff either way, the update to raise mouse click efficiency to something in the tens of thousands arrives when the animals are doing quadrillions of digs per second... archeologist levels also got maxed out pretty quickly.... i do like the game overall though so i guess i'm gonna pretend i reached an ending for now, maybe a future update will make progressing faster at this point

(1 edit)

thank you for the update!

looks like something is off with the artifact counters involving the new location's artifacts, i've got 13/11 common and 17/15 rare ones right now :]

....i can't find the pop up, where is it?

thank you either way :] gonna have to replay the game now that i know about this

wow this is laggy (in my browser, firefox linux idk what affects performance)... the fps counter says 10-60 but it feels like a slideshow at all times

so much clicking... it would be nice if there was a button to buy all available upgrades for a given car parameter. the game is pretty fun other than that though

It's fine that the price rises, but the shop should say what the real price is. Right now it does not say the prices correctly.

(1 edit)

the idea sounds great but the words it's been detecting are way too obscure... whenever i make a move i have no idea if it's gonna count some random three-letter combo that i've never seen before. just dropping tiles at random brings about the same results as when i'm trying to make words on purpose

definitely took me more than 6 minutes, i failed like three or four times, but this was great

i'm only managing like 5-7/8 in classic mode and 2-4/8 in tactic :( is it a luck thing or skill issues? i've been playing for hours now

yay, miners are fixed!! this is fun now :)

it would be cool if multiple miners could work at the same block at once when there are less blocks than miners remaining

The shop says the prices vary by 100g between each equipment level, in reality regular equipment is 2x of the base price and expensive is 3x of the base price. E.g. on lvl 14 the shop says the equipment costs 1400g, 1500g and 1600g but it you buy it it takes 1400g, 2800g and 4200g respectively.

yeah i thought they just did very little damage but just tried playing again and yeah they're not even doing anything after the first block...

btw it's also a bit annoying that the proportions of seeds/water/sun that come out of the piñata are different from the proportions that actually get used so there's always a giant pile of seeds lying around, is that intentional?

omg i'm playing again to see if i can make do with only a few friends of each type because i was getting way too many my first time and apparently you can pick up creatures!!! i wanted to pick up a vegetable and got a chicken in my hands instead lol

(2 edits)

very cute! took me a few hours to finish i think

i thought the hats could be used for switching friends' professions at first but it was clear enough what actually happened :]

i also was worried the piñata would run out before i could progress enough, but i managed to make the whole field green and get the last vegetable so i guess that's fine

> either keep the tab open, or download the windows version of the game

moving the tab to its own window works for this too! (at least for me, on firefox)

also i found a visual bug: when a friend with multiple hats walks behind the farmiñata, some of their hats show up in front of the farmiñata. with two hats it's the second hat, and rn i have friends with like 10-15? hats and the top 4 are in front

a couple more annoying things:

- miners often just stay in place (or slowly float) and twitch infinitely, i have to break a block near them to let them move [this is fixed as of 1.2]

- fullscreen game gets cut off at the sides on my screen (16:10)

...also this text input box is really glitchy for some reason, the cursor keeps jumping to the start of the line (edit: i've had the same happen on other games now so probably not specific to this one)

the music and visuals are very nice though

it's not, and if levels start taking so long then that's likely more levels than you need in the available areas anyway

47m49s :D cool game!

managed to beat the last available area after hours of grinding and some experimenting with stats, feeling very accomplished!

and i'm still playing because i want to get my fox to lvl 30 to see what kind of skill it gets there :D

probably not getting the bow upgrade though, that's definitely not worth it right now

kinda spoilers on what stats i used to beat it below:

.

i originally thought maxing out agi+int and putting the rest of the points in dex+wis was the way to go, to make the dancing dagger skill stronger, but looks like dex gets you more out of skills when you need it, so it's dex+int, just enough points into vit to survive if you need it and the rest of the points go into wis. str seemed absolutely useless compared to the armor and bestiary buffs i had by that point, but i guess i would've also been exploring new areas at this point during regular gameplay so i could've needed it? idk

this also seems to get me the best rates for soul farming in rat's nest 50 (consistently over 3.1m per minute right now) and i have the fox summon active (with amulet of aggression) because i'm leveling it, pretty sure the owl was even better for farming though. might try the hedgehog later too, it looks fun

(1 edit)

just realized that "skill size" increased by the int stat seems to mean area of effect, that also works i guess

this is super fun!!!

i've been playing for a few days now and still have things to unlock and complete in the demo and it looks like this is only a small part of what's to come

right now i'm zooming around farming the gentlewood with all the agility i could afford and it's often too fast for me to manage to click on the interactables. it would be nice not to have to depend on your reaction speed and dexterity so much, maybe another character could have an active ability with more area of effect at the cost of other stuff so that you don't have to be as precise

it's isometric as in isometric projecction. (unless you find another interpretation ig)

you could theoretically get enough seeds for farming to get you any money but there's no time to do any farming with having to clear your land from trees and rocks all the time

this game is addictive but too difficult. i would play it until i get better, but the glitches are too discouraging. my progress disappears, storage boxes placed next to the crafting table disappear, when i try to upgrade the axe to gold it reverts to the first level most of the time with no way to fix it. also the only source of income that lets you afford any upgrades is wild bees during twilight hour with the amount of honey you can get limited only by your energy, if you're lucky enough to find them the first or second time lol

i guess i wasn't in the right mindset for the game last time because now i like feeding every plant because i can appreaciate each plant individually when i do it :)

i'm going back because i want more plants

(1 edit)

40 game days later i can no longer keep up with all the coins that get stuck on shelves and feeding all the plants :( it was a nice experience though

i did it!!! loving it so far

(1 edit)

this game looks so good!!! i'm now finally looking into playing windows games on linux so that i can play it properly :D

(1 edit)

nice game!! my highest score is 64 so far :)
edit: got 69, nice
