Thanks for leaving the feedback

The art is really good. It needs a tutorial tho

I dont know y but after I click on begin, it didn't start and went on not responding. It kept doing that

Art and audio are great

Pixel art is one thing I really love in any game. Like the concept but I picked the wrong answers XD which seem like skill issue

After the jam ends, I will try to make it a complete game and add a bit more things to it. It will be available for free on itch when I complete the game. Thanks for your feedback, I will improve it

I will be playing and rating downloadable games (windows) because they are getting low reach and plays. Drop your games here and I will be rating them all on Wednesday.

Mine is also downloadable so feel free to try it:

Dial for dear life

Thanks for feedback, I also think I made the difficulty a bit hard. I will lower it a bit in the future

Rated by 4 people only.

Thanks for review. I really wanted to add 3-4 things more, a menu and settings, a bit of story and a cutscenes for the end but couldn't do that as I started late, had the wrong date for jam (thought it was to start on 23). Will add those things and upload them here, don't think I'll be able to upload on steam due to $100 fee there

For petrified touch you can keep looking at the puppet until the curse ends, that way you won't have time wasted, for dark I think I will decrease the time a bit

On the journal towards the left you have 3 digits number in front of each curse description, you dial those in the phone.

Now you can't  cheese anymore. You can screenshot the first book though, it will help but not cheese it anymore, the numbers will be random after each spin

About the game:

You wake up in a room, you can not move, only rotate the mouse. There is a puppet in front which moves towards you slowly, you can stop it from moving by directly looking at it. The only way to escape is to unlock the 6 digits of the keypad behind you. You spin the wheel and get a random curse(there are 10 random curses). You decipher those curses by viewing both journals on the table and matching the effects with the description. After you find the correct number(3 digit), you dial it on the rotary phone, if correct number is dialed, the phone rings and the puppet moves a few steps back, if the number is incorrect, a wrong number tune is played which wastes 10 seconds and the puppet gets closer. After successful dial, you unlock a digit of the code in the journal. You repeat the process 6 times to unlock all 6 digits and then escape.

Each play generates random codes for dial/curse and the keypad so each play is different.
