This is a pretty neat idea actually, hope you'll finish and polish after the jam!

fun and very cute indeed! Those monsters are welcome to hang out at the cutest dungeon, lol

Sometimes I need to "look" before I can "get"? but the game plays nicely otherwise and is fun.

I just realized the green things on the floor i was trying to pick up might be traps.. I think others had this problem too. oops. You've got all the basics down good tho, but like others said, the steps feel weird. Technically the corridors are 2 tiles wide but it feels like we occupy 1.5 tiles?
Has potential tho!

Nice intro, liked where this was going and the music too, but new game just gives me a black screen?

I died really fast :) Agree with most of the comments here so no point repeating them. I think this is the first literal rps interpretation I played, which was refreshing as a result.

Solid entry and a nice take on the retrofuture. The web version had some weird performance issues so was glad to see an alternative dl

That's a very creative take on the theme, nice work!

..and extra points for the audio!

Very cute, I like the take on the "party"

Had to give an extra point for the "running on a Raspberry Pi" bit. Great effort :)

lmao! ok that does make more sense now :)

tysm for your kinda words - so glad that you enjoyed playing!

That was awesome Captain Coder, tysm.

For those getting stuck around wave 4 - try not to think of this as "tower defense". It's a logic problem or math equation that you need to solve. The heroes come into your dungeon and make mess. The damage, healing and steps between everything are known quantities - you clean up their mess by optimizing the dungeon - and use the "summon" tab to move the monsters to the best place to achieve this.
The tut was gonna explain all this more clearly ofc, but we ran out of time and had to cut it ;(

Oh, the colored border around your monsters shows the elemental damage they suffered, so you can optimize your tea making :)

kept headbutting walls because QE were switched with AD which was a shame cos I really wanted to play this one more. the music is great, the art is good, it's a great effort otherwise!
trying to remap the keys on the title screen seems to refuse to remap properly - i get this

Ambitious for the timescale but I liked where you were going with the mockery and the no-AI gets a bonus point from me!

I can see where you were going with the retrofuture - i think that was the hardest theme imo, so good attempt.

Sorry it took me so long to get around to playing yours, love it tho, esp the slimes!

I had to give you an extra star for what you did with those dungeon crawl stone soup potions ;) very nice work.

the lighting was a bit weird, I didn't understand that, but the game still seems to play fine on web build. I died a lot :)

A bit hard for me maybe, but still fun. Always nice to see different takes on the genre too!

The cardboard :) Defs one of the most innovative I've played, well done :)

Was so busy playing I forgot to leave a comment - this is really nicely put together and very replayable. I only wish there'd been a web build so I could have played it sooner :)

Once I figured out how to play, it was really fun. Look forward to seeing where you take this post-jam

Wasn't sure what to expect after itch did the dirty on you there, but this is great and really fun. Love the gfx especially.

I died a lot.. but the dragons really are cute :)

Always love to see an inventory, but it looks like that took a lot of work! Has potential tho fr!

had some trouble understanding the minimap at first, but it plays well and the monsters were great

Had a hard time persuading it to load, but then it was fun to play. That skelly is so cute he should come visit Cutest Dungeon! :)

Definitely an interesting idea here and the special fx are really nice!

omg, it's the legendary cryptrat!! tysm for playing and even beating it :) means a ton to us all!

glad to hear you liked it! :) we had lots of fun making it too

I'll hafta let Phil answer that one but I think so?
We're not using Unity or Godot or anything - it's a custom engine, if that's what you were asking?

tysm for your kind words!

thank you for playing! we'll defs be adding a proper tutorial in future :)

Thanks for playing! Yes, we hope to expand in future with a proper tutorial to help with this! :)

we were gonna have an option to select north as up (doesn't spin), or forward as up, and I think we totally ran out of time! We'll try and add this once the voting is over :)
thanks for playing, glad it was fun :)

tysm claeys! hopefully just the beginning!

I loved yours too, we're "play on titles" og fr here :)
tysm for playing, hope we can extend things more after the voting ends

I normally avoid downloads during gamejams, but this one is well worth the exception! Beautifully put together.

Yeah, Hargir dies a bit quickly tho :(
