The problem with most modern retro-style games is that, one way or another, in the end of the day you still "feel" that it's a modern game. This game is an exception; if somebody just gave me the archive saying it's an lost-n-found game from the 90's I never would've thought it's a modern game. The pdf manual included in the download deserves special praise. Handling in the game feels weird at first, but it becomes fun when you get the hang of it. I really hope to see more games like that in the future. (づ￣ 3￣)づ
