I'm a goof and I had the controls severely confused. Played it through and I really liked it! It was a great length for a jam and it had a nice amount of polish and style. Great job to the team

5/8 of the cursed objectives is actually nuts. Well done!

I was not expecting a boss fight in minesweeper XD

I like the length of it for a jam game. Next time I want to aim for something closer to this size. I couldn't find any sort of tell for when you had an empowered attack so I just tried and failed to use it a bunch, but it was cool when it happened

I can't get the game to go much of anywhere in browser. Maybe I am missing something? I couldn't find a way back from the credits scene and I can't get the guy in the purple suit to progress beyond finishing his first message. Could be user error

I really like the atmosphere and style of the game. It could do with some feedback for the player, and not defaulting the highlighted action to end turn. I've defeated the princess and guards a few times, but it feels like I am losing when I do, so I might be missing something

I'd almost like it more if it was even slower and with few obstacles, just a vibe that you leave on your second monitor that you occasionally have to move to avoid islands XD

The sound is really staticky and poppy. Not sure if it is supposed to be or if it was bugged, but it was kinda hard to listen to

It is a bit under baked but it is cool that you made an effort

I really like the sprites for the character and the enemies

Thank! I tried some tricks to make it look nessy but I am no artist. I mostly was aiming at "complete game" and "NES Vibe", so I'm gonna count that as a win :D

I am glad you had fun. The sluggishness was intentional to make it feel more chunky. I do fear that your experience will be typical for the average person who tries the game. Each level is designed to be only 1 to 2 minutes long, but to learn them well and complete the challenges takes a lot of runs on each level to get a feel for them and I don't really expect most players to invest that much time.

Ultimately I am super happy with how it turned out, but next time I enter a jam I intend to focus more on a gameplay experience that can be optimally experienced in a much shorter amount of time lol
