Can RCBasic be embedded for use into other applications as a scripting language? For example: UE4. 

Yeah, the creators of Hitman (the latest ones), and then Bethesda use Autodesk Scaleform to create their HUD's (which uses the .SWF format).

All good, I imagine you're wanting to publish the source when Spriteloop is stable? 

Also, would you be open to supporting the .swf file format?Despite Adobe killing Flash, these formats are still used in projects (being used for Game HUD's). 

There's only two FOSS projects that support swf however one of them is not production ready, and the other is more tailored towards children. 

If you're not looking to/interested supporting this format, I am happy to just wait until the other project is ready instead.

Will the source code for this be published at some point?

I would love to integrate this into my custom Game Engine.
