thoughts as i play:
- not a huge fan of how the ui works for making the vessel, it feels really janky.
-kris is TINY compared to basically everything.
-berdly's name is spelled wrong in noelle's dialogue
-theres something going on with berdly's dialogue idk how to describe it
-you can ask noelle to be in a group of 3 still after susie leaves
-susie says "loosing your face" instead of "losing your face"
-interacting with the glowshard multiple times gives the same dialogue
-second save point in the dark world says "bethed" instead of "bathed"
-after the prophecy susie says "workd" instead of "world"
-sorry im pointing out all the typos, im not trying to nitpick or be rude!! im trying to be helpful
-it bothers me that you cant back out of the item menu if you have no items during a fight
-speaking of which, how do i look at my stats/party/items? pressing select or b doesnt do anything
tourists only really seem worth using when theyre a lot fatter than what you have around them, because nobody really likes them.
dietician also becomes kind of useless by the later levels due to everyone being enourmous, relegating them to bloating (haha) the possible pool of passengers. i couldve gotten more chatterboxes or cooks but instead its a passenger that doesnt really like anyone
im not really sure what the mascot's dislike of "redundancy" means. does it mean having multiple passengers per car? just duplicates next to the mascot? passengers that score 0 points? its not very clear.
the game kinda outscales itself by the time you reach the mid twenties. i really wish i could get an ending or something.
some ideas, idk if theyre any good
-someone who likes being next to people who are running late as it seems like kind of a redundant mechanic apart from joggers (actually in retrospect this might be a bad idea because itd encourage people to just hoard late passengers instead of actually playing the game properly. maybe they eat late passengers?)
-someone who fattens adjacent passengers, and prefers fatter passengers. maybe if their fattening exceeds the capacity of the cart, something happens?
-in addition to this, maybe this would make dietician make adjacent passengers skinnier? idk
-maybe when holding a passenger, highlight passengers they like in green and ones they dont like in red
-gallery!!!!
-would probably be for a post jam addition since its complex, but i think upgrades from the excess points could be interesting. maybe higher capacity per cart, or more carts, or maybe temporary additions to carts that some passengers like (maybe a fan will prevent other passengers from being unhappy when a jogger gets sweaty, or a water cooler making employees happier, etc)
-i think the exit door needs to be communicated a little better, i thought it was part of the background at first and only discovered it on accident. maybe have it glow a little bit when you have a passenger ready to get off?
i love the QoL features of this update, but in my opinion, the non-regenerating health makes you way too reliant on shielding, especially with no way to regain health. i think a card effect that heals you or skipping out on getting a new card at the end of a floor to get more health/max health would hel. maybe playing a fully holo card could heal you? idk
