was genuinely making a peak doom mod until i saw the one day deadline

yeah I'm going to do that because that's a lot easier for me and I wont be stuck watching like 50 Godot tutorials the entire game jam

(because I have legit made 0 progress so far since I keep getting distracted)

dawg i havent even started

I don't got any ideas, haven't even figured out what game engine to use or anything, AND we only have 4 days or less to finish this.

I might as well just quit atp I'm not built for this

never mind Godot is too complicated for me

genuine question cause uh that would be cool

fuuuuck i have to install godot

why is it in like 20 dif game jams

WHAT

im still trying to figure out what game engine to use i can not program at ALL

i do have a "totally legal" copy of rpgmaker xp though so maybe

Yes

(1 edit)

we must create the funniest slop imaginable

oh also I only have ONE day to learn how to use a game engine for this

(2 edits)

be prepared for the WORST game possible

edit: i have only like 10 hours to learn a game engine now because i was accidentally slacking and playing rollercoaster tycoon 2 i am FRIED

edit again: never mind my dumbass still forgot to do it now I have to learn how to do stuff as I go 😭

discord is mostly what I meant by social media because of all the privacy leaks its had and everything, and GB Studio is also kind of the only thing I know how to use other than some really simple python.

right now I'm kind of worried for this because I joined like a week or two ago when I was kind of into game dev for a bit, made a really bad GB Studio game, got discouraged, and then forgot about this and became entirely uninterested again and now I'm not sure if I should still participate since I'm a lot more of an artistic person than a programmer, and I choose to be almost entirely inactive in terms of communication on social media so I cant really join teams or anything (why am I having this whole crisis like 10 days before this thing even starts)

I don't know a SINGLE thing about programming or game engines or any of that since I'm uh kind of lazy, but since the Gameboy is really really simple I thought I might give this one a shot. but um I don't know what game engine to use and I'm a bit nervous. I'm thinking of using GB Studio or something but there are probably better game engines for this.

Another reason why I'm not very sure I should join in is because I have a REALLY bad storage issue on my computer right now, with only like 7gb left, so I'm a bit paranoid about downloading all the stuff I need to, you know, make the game.

I don't know how to use a SINGLE game engine or DAW and my art skills are kind of mid (this gif is a example)  so I'm not really sure if I should even participate in the first place

same except I don't know how to use any game engine at all
