Currently rereading Dune and looking forward to playing a solo game of this! Question: I've never played Traveller, so I had to look up a thing or two for character creation. Do you intend for players to start enlisting in careers with their characters at age 18 like (I think?) original Traveller does, or was there a different intended starting age?

Hey there! It's meant to be used alongside the left column - so for example...

• If you rolled a 3 and 4, you would interpret that as "animal + water," and since the dice don't match, you would change a letter in the name you wrote down.
• If you rolled a 2 and 2, you would get "plant + plant," and since the dice match, you would erase a letter from your name.

I hope that clarifies things!

I've been thinking about how to design a solo Belonging Outside Belonging game. Looking up whether anyone had already done it brought me here. This was VERY informative to look at, so thank you!

That's awesome to hear! I've really enjoyed my playthroughs of Lineage, so I'm glad it's still in development.

Wow. Just...wow. This game is a lovely homage to Junji Ito's style of horror. Played it with my wife in a dark room at night. Got two endings, watched the others. We kept giving each other "wtf" glances as the tension built. There were swear words and incoherent noises of horror at every jump scare. We had to turn on all the lights and cover every window in the house after we were done. Overall, SpaceZeta, I can't wait to see what you do next!
