yea, I only saw your post after i had shared mine. I got it working following those instructions, thanks!

Tested on Kubuntu 22.04 LTS. Game never opens and the following error log is shown:

Heya! Sadly... Nicalis, IP owners of Cave Story in ther US, took down the CSE2 decompilation effort and all its forks, including the Tweaked project. The project itself is not down per se yet (i'm still figuring out how to keep going from here), but I'd advise against linking to it,as I'd prefer you to not get involved in potential legal hassles over it.

I was using Windows 10 at the time, with the game copied to an additional hard drive (D unit)

hi! I'm having an issue where the game doesn't remember the resolution settings I give it after picking my destination. Is there a way to fix this?
