So fun! I am excited to see where this progresses, definitely belongs on Steam!

This is SO good! Low key but really addictive

This was really fun, and I'm not normally into this kind of game. Great job!

edit: nvm, forgot to push play

ohmygodthegameisbroken! what are you doing?!

I'm glad you made the deadline!

Night mode inputs seemed to not do anything, had me screaming in fear a little bit. I liked day mode, very chill vibes until it wasn't. 😅🙈

Extremely well polished and impressive level of detail. I loved the cute models for the treats and everything. I can't play horror games 🙈 so only got until the lights went out and had to stop, but I can appreciate that a lot of work went into this!

Very creative concept! I thought the pacing was a bit slow, wished I could have clicked to jump to the next piece of dialog, but I also understand this could be a design choice to build tension.

I really liked this one, got to a point where the knights couldn't get around the first corner before getting thoroughly cooked. Would love to see more progression if you are thinking to continue developing on it.

Super cute! I am not into violent games, but really enjoyed this one for some reason! 😅

I got home with a score of 3426 💪 beat that! >:)

I really like the concept and thought the spherical sheep were super cute! I was having a hard time with motion sickness when playing, but I am not sure what can be done about that in a first person game.

Actually it seems like this was a Firefox issue, and it works on Chrome. I did notice issues with having the browser zoomed when loading the game versus zooming it after, it limited the games field of view.

The concept is really cute! I liked making babies and then my babies made babies and they all ate everything. Very charming and surprisingly addictive!

Unfortunately I wasn't able to see the snail, it was just a off-colored smudge on the screen that didn't align with where it's hitbox was. 🤔 It seems like a novel idea, but I wasn't really able to experience it.

Very satisfying juice! I think the bat sfx was a bit too loud, but otherwise I thoroughly enjoyed this!

I will be streaming the games on Saturday starting at 11am CET. I will also play games on Sunday at the same time if I don't finish them all Saturday. :)

Your tab froze when you hit 'E'!? Oh no! 😅 I thought I fixed that.

Thank you SO much for bringing that to my attention! It was caught in an infinite loop on load. It should be fixed now!

I forgot to post before, but I am streaming working on this jam AND playing entries after!
I stream Saturdays and Sundays, you are welcome to come say hi, we have a nice coworking space here. :)

I couldn't find a toilet and I died. Relatable.

The loo kept eating all my points! D:

Thank you for the feedback! Yes I am very open to suggestions as it's super early development, and I agree having work as more of an activity would be very interesting. I am thinking about designating work hours and then having an active job tasks panel of extra actions you can do at work. 🤩

Thank you! I love these two genres and am hoping I can get the best of both in a simple package. :)

Tool tips are in the update I just posted, and eulogies are on my to dos for the near future!

Hey Doug, thank you for the feedback! I just posted an update that adds tooltips and several other improvements.

I really like the idea of adding autonomy! I was thinking about making autonomy a skill so your character is better at self care the higher their skill, and also making death not happen with every need failure.

Haha, thank you! I will definitely be adding tooltips and generally working on clarity of things for the next update. I will be sure to add a eulogy in the death screen, I love that idea!

That is really helpful feedback! I am going to do some work on the layout and communicating information to the player for the next update.

Currently the food upgrade is supposed to slow down the hunger need and speed up hunger refill, but I think there is a bug with it. I will also look at adding an autonomy or similar behavior to add progression and avoid easy death.

Good to know! I will add try to improve clarity with my next update! :)

Hey! Thank you for the feedback! I added a little animation at the start to draw attention to where to start. :)

Hey thank you for letting me know! You are correct, it was definitely broken! I found the bug and have fixed it now. :)

Hey, thank you for testing out the latest!

I found a bug that was still present in determining best recipe, so now that should be all working! I also changed how the creative burst gets upgraded so if there is a delay, it will still figure out the correct level. I also made a change so hopefully there won't be a delay anymore.

What do you mean "when reaching max score"?  When you unlock all the recipes? Unlock all achievements? Reach biggest number for money/skill level?

I have published a new build that fixes the smart staff and creative burst upgrades. :)

Hey! I did get your earlier message, but was at work and just now am home. I will see what's going on with the creative burst and smart staff, I think I have an idea of what's going wrong there. Thank you for checking out the update! I will follow up when I have a fix published.

I updated how creative burst works, so now each time you succeed your prob decreases somewhat, not all the way down. So you can buy a bunch of creative burst in a row, then R&D a bunch and still get the effect.

I also made a change when you get really high on equipment speed that should help with how it performs, especially with larger kitchens.

Oh wow, 80-100 kitchens and 400-500 staff is quite the stress test! I will take a look at some performance optimizations for when it reaches the "in reach"/"out of reach" stage.

I have an idea for an alternative to handling creative burst that will make it less back and forth.

I will follow up when these are implemented in case you are available to test again. :)

Hmm, I wasn't a fan of the name "staffed" either. I will think about an alternative. Also, "stuffed" as in filled pastries might be a good additional upgrade! 🤔

Hey, thank you for the feedback! I uploaded a build this morning that *should* fix the "in the name of science" price going crazy bug, as well as slowing the R&D upgrade point growth a bit.

Hey, thank you for the feedback! With Creative Burst, it raises the probability of successful research until you are successful. So if research gives you a recipe or upgrade points (what you get if you aren't at a high enough skill to unlock a new recipe), the probability resets to default. I will make that more clear in the levels display for that upgrade and the description. I agree that it saying it's level 400 doesn't make sense if it's basically not applied anymore.

I want to make it more clear about the recipes being baking level locked, but will have to think about how best to communicate that. Perhaps the bigger issue is that the recipe's level lock goes too high and creates a lull in the late game. I will try tweaking the numbers on the unlocks as a starting point.

Thanks again for the detailed feedback, it helps a lot!

Edit: I uploaded a build just now that should address clarity in the Creative Burst and speed up the late game slowdown. If you have time, I'd love feedback on the changes!

Hey, thank you for letting me know about the debt issue. I think I have fixed it now! :D

Edit: I found the cause and uploaded a fixed version. Thanks again for letting me know!

Oh snap! I will look into that, thank you for bringing it my attention!
