I'm a solo dev and honestly this is just the earliest alpha I dared to put out - like the very first playable build, basically a rough sketch. So I'm not gonna pretend any of the stuff you mentioned is news to me, you're right across the board and it's all on the list. Just didn't want to wait any longer to start getting feedback from real people.

Really glad the art and tutorial vibe landed for you though, that genuinely keeps me going.

You’re absolutely right about the confusion without a tutorial, and especially about the building rotation on Mac. The current mouse-based rotation doesn’t translate well to a trackpad, and your suggestion about adding a dedicated key like R is spot on — I’ll prioritize improving this.

Also noted your points about:

  • clearer resource indicators (hover text is a great idea)
  • better readability of strength vs enemies
  • making building synergies more visible and rewarding
