Ok, that makes sense. It was set to the lowest value by default.

The player acceleration and head bobbing still feels way to heavy tho.

Also, I noticed that the player speed doesn't reset on death. Meaning if you run into the tar pits and respawn, the player flies into the direction of the previous movement.

I played it until you need to jump over the second tar pit with the wooden broken wagons in it. But I'm currently struggling with the controls.

  • The mouse sensitivity is way too low for me, dragging my mouse more than half way across my mouse mat only turns me 90°.
  • The acceleration seems to floaty. Both dodging the enemies and platforming therefore feels more difficult than it should be imo.
  • Especially when sprint running through the level, there seems to be a small random rotation that is added from time to time.

I also thought the part between the first boss and the first tar pit was a loop since it seems to have some repetition, but with the non-respawning enemies, this was kinda interesting.
